I cant take it anymore. A lady at the checkout of my dr appointment yesterday had a large poster, ehem, large ai poster of herself as a queen with text on it like "phone queen" and it was so hard to stand there and not say anything.

Before gen“AI” this flyer would have been comic sans and clip-art images... the economic, social, and mental costs of gen“AI” obviously make this worse, but I'm not sure that would have looked any better...
This is true. Whoever spent 10 minutes doing this in Canva would have also spent 10 minutes doing this at any stage of history. If this was from the 80s, it would have been black marker and then 100 copies would have been made.
