So true, I would write entire essays off of the summaries on Wikipedia. My teacher's either didn't notice or didn't care.
The older I get, the more I realise that the teachers understood that we didn’t read the materials and didn’t respect the process, didn’t put earnest effort in, effectively lied our way through high school.
We all used pinkmonkey.com.
But still. We who tried at the literal eleventh hour to deceive and feign knowledge. We were best in breed.
I shudder to think about my generation in leadership roles.
We got good marks because of pluck, audacity, and sheer tyranny of will. Not because we deserved them. And it was known, to an extent, by both sides.
We are looking at each other in a mirror.
As an autistic kid with learning disabilities I felt that I was set up to fail and cheating (if you want to call it that) was the only way to pass. It's not like those who made the curriculum gave a shit about kids like us.
