the door handles stopped working, what a stupid feature and nightmare
makes me wonder, couldn't someone or something remotely hack a car to kill its passengers?

you can open the doors without the power handles. Keep in mind this is version from a lawyer, the same people who fabricated "unintended acceleration" claims.

No. There is an emergency release handle that is mechanical. Passengers tend to find that instead of the normal button.
