One thing you can always count on is NVIDIA, Apple, and Nintendo fans to let you down when it comes to voting with their wallets.

Its positive in that he is trying to create mutants so the world can feel more like Marvel. Or maybe The Thing.

Yeah I've used heroic launcher, but a native launcher is still preferred. I like the GOG launcher on windows.

Has America even given a reason to be given the benefit of the doubt on anything since the asset to Russia came into power?

Cloud saves, achievements, and tracking hours is something I do like. I have over a 100 GOG games, so individually managing exe files isn't something I really want to do.

When I think of the tesla brand I think nazi, racism, facism, bigotry, etc. So yeah I wouldn't want to drive one even if it was given to me for free because of the problematic association. Some sticker wouldn't make me feel people would buy that I'm not part of the cult of new world order worship bringing about extreme expansionist ideals and discrimination.

We are all exposed to the same propaganda.

Poor article with it attempting to be a character fluff piece that completely ignores that after working at the FTC, Slater become the vice-president for legal and regulatory policy for the Internet Association lobby group. Which was founded by "small business" like Google, Amazon, eBay and Facebook.

And involved in trying to infringe upon privacy rights. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2019/09/lawmakers-must-not-let-internet-association-weaken-california-consumer-privacy-act

So yeah, proton founder cherry picked information that tried to make it seem like it was acceptable to praise the pick when reality is the past is too murky to endorse in any manner. And that medium article that gets floated around ignores Internet Association too, so wouldn't be shocking if it was from proton attempting to do PR damage fixating on identity politics with intentional omission of Internet Association involvement.

Like how people were gifted ability to have more knowledge at their hands than previous generations and rapid communication, and then came to the conclusion that the earth is flat, vaccines are poision, and facism is holy?

Humans are dumb fucks. They will inevitably fuck up even the most perfect utopia they arrive in short of some mass hive mind brain washing Equilibrium style. i don't hold that high an opinion of human society.

Leave the world to the animals. Humans are a failed experiment and a virus to the world.

Instead of going to the Android community it goes to /c/all when I try to visit while logged into lemmy.ca. I tried logging out and back in to see if that would solve it.
