Too many people think because something finally “works”, it’s good. Once your AI has written code that seems to work, that’s supposed to be when the human starts their work.

Holy shit, preach!

Once you give a shit ton of prompts and the feature finally starts working, the code is most likely complete ass, probably filled with a ton of useless leftovers from previous iterations, redundant and unoptimized code. That's when you start reading/understanding the code and polishing it, not when you ship it lol

Okay, I can see the poorly disguised fetish... or perhaps... not disguised fetish.

Although the idea is nice, both are needed.

It's important to have open-source alternatives, but you're not going to serve websites at the Amazon or Youtube scale by self-hosting OSS. Hyperscaler and their datacentres are also needed.

Makes me want to restart another Zomboid save, but I'm waiting for B42 multiplayer :/

Also, if you like Zomboid, keep an eye on the development of Vein, looks very promising!

Being a foreigner in the US sounds like a great deal right now! lmao

Yeah. "Did you ever wish you were circumcised?"

Bro I don't even remember circumcision exists until an American brings it up lmao, hell no.

There are actual AAA full games, Feral Games is releasing a lot of their games on Mobile now (Android as example), like Alien: Isolation, XCOM 2, GRID Legends, Several Total War Entries and Tropico.

Hitman Absolution launches now in October 16th.

There are also some from other devs, like Focus' Mudrunner and Square Enix's Life Is Strange.

If you want awesome casual ones, there's Balatro, Isle of Arrows, Keep on Mining (non-slop incremental), Dungeon Clawler, Siege Up! and All Aboard! of the top of my head.

This, Kdenlive is probably the best bet for FOSS and has gone a long way these past years.

From what I tried, Olive was good some 5 years ago, but development was abandoned, and Blender works, but it's not really made for it.

If OP doesn't care about proprietary, DaVinci Resolve is the best on the list IMO.

Yeah, did people forget the last big Cloudflare outage already? A good chunk of all big services went down simultaneously. Discord, Amazon, Twitter and even the PS and Xbox consoles networks lmao.
