Companies don't remember or learn. People come and go and after a software lifecycle everything is forgotten as the top management gets refreshed.

In my case those almost never pass. Maybe you're the only one exclusively working on that system...? When you're one of a number of contractors competing to do something in software that cannot be regulated, you're basically screwed.

Did this credit card score in the US come from a Black Mirror episode or something? Sure we have companies (in the EU) doing some customer scoring checks beforehand (for some utilities or services), but they operate mostly by accessing shared black lists from past collections systems or something, and I'm ok with that. But this US system looks scary!

Investment funds hoarding all houses on the market. Entire buildings getting purchased and people evicted, just to transform them in to another boring AirBnB or hostel.

Android phones are picking up this reboot trend also... 😐

For me its about what you said: processed is adding stuff to preserve and "improve". Nothing bad about frozen basic ingredients that arent cooked. Also in my country fresh veggies and fruit are cheaper than frozen ones.

Maybe its a cultural thing, but mostly fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, fresh meat, fresh fish... I think you got the idea. Frozen veggies are good too (if not pre-cooked or seasoned).

Oh boy, if you really think these are healthly I have bad news for you... Sure there are worst options around, but that still counts as processed food on my book!

Same reason why nobody wanted to visit nazi Germany on 1933 probably... 😑

Some cryptocoins explicitly address privacy and anonymity issues, for example Monero (XMR).

I'm surprised US doesn't have gigabit as a standard already. I'm upgrading to 10 gigabit next month here (Portugal)...
