I have a couple patches of apple mint in my yard, which doesn't seem to spread much. It legitimately does smell amazing while I'm mowing and has always grown back by the next time I mow.

People can get accustomed to their environment, even actively harmful environments. Choosing to stay where you are is an exertion of control for people who currently (and often for most of their lives) have very little control over their lives.

You can see it in everybody, just not to such a self-damaging extent. I can't blame anyone stuck in it, the same way I don't blame people who stay in abusive homes.

As someone who was homeless before, I really appreciate what you've done to help.

Tuca and Bertie. Netflix cancelled it, then HBO made another season. But just before releasing it HBO cancelled it for a tax break. It's heartbreaking to think of the writers and animators pouring their lives into it just for nobody to ever see it.

I used to love C++ and I still do to some extent. But the longer I am away from it the more I realize it was largely just Stockholm syndrome.

Then why am I unhappy when I'm off my meds? Checkmate.

If I saw that in a repo I would 100% believe it. I've seen so many that are just as baffling.

This drives me crazy with software websites and GitHub repos. Sometimes they'll give you a hint that involves other undefined things like, "This lets you use Floorp with Bibix."

Exactly. Everyone at work uses it to cut the chain of "Looks good", "Thanks", "No problem", etc short. If you're interpreting an emoji as an attack you might have anger issues.

Very good. People will say that Season 2 isn't as good, but that's only because Season 1 is a masterpiece. There was no way to match that, but it's still great.

I had the exact same response. I still love it, but Shawn's so incredibly narcissistic that's it's tough to love him. I treat it the same way I treat Bojack Horseman: I can hate his character and still find him hilarious and compelling.
