A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

Keep trying. It took me over 10 years to find the right meds.

EDIT: This isn't meant as discouragement. Most people find the right meds way sooner. The point is that it can take a few tries.

I realized I’m not actually depressed in a mind disorder sort of way because I was very happy during the lockdown when I was paid to just live and do what I want. Turns out it’s just being a slave to capitalism that makes me miserable.

'You're not depressed, you just have a rough life' is the dumbest reason to invalidate people's need for psychiatric help.

Stop gatekeeping depression and start acknowledging that people can be depressed from all walks of life.
