Imagine an episode in which DeVito portrays dozens of different guest characters, one from each species that has been featured in the series. Then, the rest of the Sunny gang portrays a merry band of outlaws or something.

My apologies. I will refrain from posting such riveting content in the future.

Looks like Voyager does not support it, and the developer is not eager to add the functionality. This is their most recent comment on the issue, commented an entire year ago:

My official stance on display_name is negative, specifically due to impersonation and UX concerns (you can see my full thoughts here: https://vger.social/comment/4447844)

While I won't support showing display_name by default, I would consider showing a future flair by default.

I would also support adding a setting to show display_name if it was off by default.

When I said "they", I was referring to Twitter, not you. My comment was in response to

Do they really let their llms have a twitter account and be taggable like this? I though they would have learned it doesnt worked out so great when microsoft tried it with TayAI years ago.

Was it ever mentioned why Rutherford has those horizontal "gaps" in the hair on the non-cybernetic side? Is that related to surgery scars or something, or is it entirely aesthetic/intentional?

I would argue that having a display name that indicates something different than the true name could lead to confusion for people like me who always disable showing display names (for both users and communities). Though, I am not sure how common it is for people to use this setting like me.

With all that said, in the end, this is probably the best solution for the community. I can't be too disappointed.

S5E9 "Mac and Dennis Break Up"

I could not decide whether this was better with text or without, so you get both:

Those themed days here (or was that Risa?) were fun. That was what got me started making Star Trek posts

I see that lizard tail 👀

Alternatively, what would happen if the loss of magnetism instead happened gradually over a period of time?

I realized that out of all the Trek/Sunny crossover memes that I have created, only about half of them got posted to this community at all. So, I browsed through all my old TenForward posts/comments and grabbed all the Trek/Sunny images to compile them into one post here

And as a bonus, here is something relevant that I only discovered recently: Boldly Going Nowhere

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fR7av02YIAg

Boldly Going Nowhere is a proposed American science fiction single-camera comedy television series created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton and Adam Stein that was originally to be aired in 2009 on the Fox network. The series was planned as a parody of the Star Trek franchise in the format of a workplace sitcom; the title was a reference to the famous phrase "To boldly go where no man has gone before" from the opening speech in the first two Star Trek series. A pilot was shot in 2008, but the project was shelved indefinitely. Being from the same creative team as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, multiple cast members from that series appear, including Howerton and Day, in addition to David Hornsby, Kaitlin Olson, Artemis Pebdani, Chad L. Coleman, and Benjamin Koldyke, who plays the lead character here and also guest starred on Always Sunny.

S5E3 "The Great Recession"

S16E4 "Frank vs. Russia"

Lines like "I feel like I got to take a shit"/"Everything you need is already inside you", the look on Frank's face, and the shot of the chess board. This was a timely episode, so the Carlsen scandal was still fresh in my mind, and I felt like I knew exactly where the episode was headed.
