Prevalence of lice in African American hair here in the states is 1/35th of white students. But the prevalence of lice is the same in African countries compared to the states. Basically, our lice are racist and prefer straight hair, but that's not a trait of all lice.

The lice aren't racist they're the resistance

Fuck them little colonizers, you should see their YouTube recs

(It's the structure of the lice's legs compared to the shape of the hair)

That second part is interesting. I remember from school that black kids wouldn't get caught up in the lice outbreaks but didn't know that was a relatively regional thing.

If you have the means, I would recommend watching the Abbott Elementary half of this crossover event (S4E9 "Volunteers") before watching the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia half. The Sunny episode alone does provide a fairly adequate explanation of what is going on, so you will likely not be confused as to what is happening while watching the episode. But the Abbott episode adds a fair amount of backstory that answers some minor questions I had about the Sunny episode. Like I said, I was not overly confused by watching the Sunny episode first, but after finishing the season and then deciding to check out the Abbott episode, I realized that I would have likely had a better overall experience if I had watched both of the crossover episodes in order.

Thanks for the info! I still haven't managed to watch the new season, so I'll have to keep that in mind and check out S4E9 of Abbott Elementary first. I appreciate it!
