There's also Colibri which runs large models off of a SSD at a much slower speed than corporations. The large high-quality stuff has been gated by big-tech with gigantic GPUs. Colibri, if nothing else than a proof of concept, shows that high quality stuff can run on anything with a hit to speed.

The Nature of Unsymbolized Thinking, victno. Is this the source they are commenting on?

As a manual it's pretty nice.... Was experimenting with a new programming package that preloaded its documentation and examples into chatgpt. With that information at the top of the training, it synthesized nicely.

Only had two questions, but it's enough to not bother the developer directly.

Congrats, must be pretty happy there. Double check that this is a bulbous, which are easy to propagate. Wait till next spring so the offshoot can mature and make some roots. It's as simple as pulling them out of the pot together, separating the bulbs, and putting them into their own pots.

It's been a minute since I've looked into logging. Syslog is the OG standard, but generally improved with rsyslog and journald. You'll have logging levels with these and can be colored/filtered in a viewing program.

If you're looking for longevity, aim for a high refresh rate / low latency monitor. 240Hz now-a-days, probably. You'll feel the frame rates more than resolution, Especially if you play faster pace games.

I made the jump to 4k some years ago and I've been capped at 60hz. I lose my mouse every once in a while still. If you're priced between any monitors, 1440p is a great middle ground in exchange for a better frame rate.

Oh, and none of my peers have taken to curved monitors. I think you really have to sit in the same position to get the full effect.

Why have competent people with independent thoughts in positions of power, if you can have loyal people who do what you tell them to?

Assuming it's this Baby Rubber Plant, you probably have root rot. Best bet is to move it to a warmer spot and avoid watering it for a bit and hope it dries out and recovers itself.

It looks like this is a commercial plastic pot inside of a decorative pot; it's impossible to tell if it still has water and you probably overwatered. The best bet is to repot it (ignoring the advice above), cut out some of the rotten roots, and move to a new pot with a drainage hole and a watering tray. If you want to replace the soil, get some perlite/pumice (those white rocks) for the potting mix. 1 part to 1-3 part potting soil should be fine. This stuff keeps air in the soil, keeping it dryer while also lowering soil compaction (a separate issue you may find in ~2-5 years).

Repot this plant if you're looking for a learning experience, otherwise buy a fresh plant with a draining pot / repot from the get go. I have not repotted for root rot yet, I usually opt to get a new plant and set up drainage in the first dormant season (fall/winter).

I'm glad I got local runners set up already. Beyond that, it should be painless to migrate my projects over, when I get to it that is.

The different colors are how ripe they are. Green peppers are the least ripe and have a different taste because of it.
