Andy and Olly are pure!

It's a video game, they aren't for everyone.

It just occurred to me that it's not a sliding door, so this is plausible.

Post includes weird gadget/shirt/toy

Someone asks where it is from

Different person says they found the link

Congratulations on achieving advertising!

Yeah, unless you're getting cramps or something I think you're good lol. That's very fast. I don't think I'm nearly that fast.

Betas can be dominant in Omegaverse settings.

I'm probably being too generous with what I'm calling community center, I should edit it. As an example, in my head I was picturing a local park which my city has folks come and perform at and such. It's just a stage in a park but there are events there.

I don't get a very detailed error message but it fails and tells me to try reinserting it. I've tried a few times. It fails at different percentages sometimes. Any thoughts or ways to get a more detailed error message? I have Mac and Linux too.

I failed the strength check despite being a paladin and using inspiration. I never saw him again even after getting through nearly all of act 2. I've asked this before, maybe even in this community, but no one gave a concrete answer, likely because the game was still new.

Not really Cassette Futurism (or Vaporwave) but I think folks here might like it still.

Not really Vaporwave, but not too sure where it fits. These styles inspired a lot of Vaporwave things so I thought you might enjoy.

US, Georgia if it matters.

I just got laid off. Oof. Am I missing anything? I've never been laid off or fired before so it's all new to me. Just sanity checking myself.

  1. Tomorrow I'm going to write down all my job responsibilities before I forget them. For updating my resume.
  2. Figure out how to file for unemployment.
  3. Figure out what I need for COBRA benefits.
  4. Print and sign my separation agreement.
  5. Ensure I have access to my paystubs.

The obvious thing being to start applying for new jobs lol.

I'm intimidated by the UI but the allure of cross platform UI draws me in. How does one get started?

Howdy, I remember a podcast where they have the example of Microsoft Excel as an example for an introduction to functional programming. I believe it was an SE Radio podcast on Clojure or that build tool it uses. It doesn't really matter.

I already understood functional concepts and try to use them where I can in Java and other languages. (It is easier to reason about immutable data and pure methods.) I found the metaphor of Excel very interesting though. Because that's basically what it is. I'm sure there are ways to have it not act functionally but the vast majority of the time it is, and I think more people have the basic vocabulary of Excel than functional programming.

Has anyone ever used this or heard of it being used as an example while teaching fp?
