I thought that it could be mountains, but I couldn’t seen any on the map.

What’s that strange curve in Russia? Trying to avoid flying over something specific?

While quickly looking into it, I didn’t find relevant information about the effect of temperature, unless you like to extract cafestol using methanol. That will spice up your morning brew!

However, I did find this graph, that shows the effect if roast level. Dammit, why did it have to be this way. I don’t even like dark roast.

Regardless, temperature usually has an impact on extraction rates. Higher temperatures make things happen faster and better as long as we’re not talking about dissolved gases.

I seem like it’s better to stick with paper filters. I wonder if an aeropress filter is good enough for catching those compounds though.

Tried generating cool treehouse pictures, but they all sucked, so I had to build the damn thing to get the picture right.

It’s a constant arms race with microbes and the immune system. Both evolve all the time to outdo to other.

So far, it’s working pretty well. The environment is full of bacteria, viruses and fungi, most of which are harmless to us. You’re breathing that stuff in all the time, and you don’t even know how dangerous those things are to trees, bacteria, insects etc.

Parking a snake is forbidden. Parking a Nike sponsored Avatar is allowed. The rules apply to left and right sides of this pole all the way to the next intersection.

If your Avatar is sponsored by Adidas or Puma, and the branding is clearly visible on the forehead, you can request an exemption from the Avatar parking office.

If we know that the world is coming to turn to ash within a month, year or so, it’s going to be pure chaos all the way till the very end. Hopefully we can push those asteroids away long before they even come close.

Regardless of the size, I’m willing to let the moon take one for the team. If the asteroid is huge, there’s going to be lots of ejecta, some of which will hit earth. Still better than getting smacked in the face with a huge rock.

Love the orange-grey aesthetic. Also, the watch looks like it was designed by Compaq in 1994. 😄

Absolutely! It’s just that the keyboards that have a funky layout tend to be weird laptop keyboards. I have a few Ducky Shine keyboards that do have swappable caps, but they also have a good standard layout that doesn’t require me to mess around with the caps at all.

So far, I haven’t felt it necessary to get a proper desktop keyboard that also has an unusual layout. If that ever happens, getting orange arrow keys would be high on my list.

It’s approximately 2.652 × 10^32

During covid times I heard many interesting conspiracy predictions such as the value is money will fall to zero, the whole society will collapse, the vaccine will kill 99% of the population etc. None of those things have happened yet, but can you add some other predicitons to the list?

Actually, long before covid hit, there were all sorts of predictions floating around. You know, things like the 2008 recession will cause the whole economy to collapse and then we’ll go straight to Mad Max style post-apocalyptic nightmare or 9/11 was supposed to start WW3. I can’t even remember all the predictions I’ve heard over the years, but I’m sure you can help me out. Oh, just remembered that someone said that paper and metal money will disappear completely by year xyz. At the time that date was like only a few years away, but now it’s more like 10 years ago or something. Still waiting for that one to come true…
