This is one if my favorite fixes. Capacitors are significantly cheaper than a new air conditioner, easy to test with the right multimeter, and so easy to replace that most people could do it with minimum research.

I've literally searched networks for files with the word "password" in the title to find documents just... sitting on a network drive anyone could access.
At the very least, go get KeePass! It's free, can run without installation, and can even type for you.

When I was a kid my parents got a pool from a family friend. It was up for a few years before the liner deteriorated and we took it down again.
In the summers between school years the sun would perfectly reflect off the pool, through the window on my brother's side of the room, off the ceiling fan's white blades as it spun, and directly into my fucking face with a strobing effect.
