In general:

W11: fire up office, oops wait, it wants to set itself as default and for some reason needs you to buy a one drive subscription for that. How about some copilot? Are you sure? How about we wrap it in edge? Oh, but you can install Libreoffice by all means, but it’s not going to be the default app right? RIGHT?!!!

Oh you want to save the file to your harddrive? Look, how do I put this,… there is no more harddrive.

Linux: type one line in the terminal and there you go. Write a novel if you want.

I don’t have the device with me currently but if I recall correctly I think it’s at a lower version and it wants to update to 15. (Or it already is at 15…) I don’t know how I got there, haven’t looked at the thing in a year or two.

I don’t suppose there’s a way to downgrade to 11 from the OS itself?

Scenario in short:

I’m trying to install LineageOS onto a spare phone that I have (redmi note 8T) Hoping to get a daily driver out of it. The installation process requires me to install Android11 to install lineage on top of /over that. Which afaik isn’t directly available outside of some websites that I’ve never heard of.

For safety’s sake: would the install of lineage wipe the install of Android11? Or could there still remain backdoors?

Don’t give em ideas.

Her: I’m gonna listen to the village people full blast in the bedroom. Don’t disturb me.

Time to bring out the soluti-honhonhon.

Every day with this shit :’(

🐧 you know you want to 🐧

Man, with cankles that size they’ll be slapping against one another with each pedo-step he takes.

My little contribution: in searching for alternatives to software by origin it’s often quite a hassle.

I bumped into this website. Lets you filter by country, opensource, freemium, paid,…

Makes the whole digital cleanup a lot easier.
