In his defense, I also have a west facing window in my office and it is absolute ass trying to get anything done from 3-5.

Also, dude has obviously never worken up before 8am at any point since college, since you won't get a sunrise like that anywhere in California, and that's not what a Miami sunrise looks like

Yes, and that movement is fascism as they punish minorities

Have you ever actually worked in a factory? Things are way less automated than you would believe. I worked at a plastic injection molding company 5 years ago and we had exactly one press that would automatically apply stickers to the product once it came out, and it would break down constantly. Another factory i was hand sealing fiberglass sheets together for use in washing machines. Or when i worked at a tire factory, i was weighing out curing chemicals by hand into a scale, monitoring rubber coming out, and even handcutting rubber to recycle. The inly factories that have heavy automation are brand new, because management takes one look at the eyewatering price to repair automated equipment and find that it's cheaper to oay someone $20/ hour to do it by hand.

But what if the valve was actuated electronically with no manual access?

These dudes are so much fun to watch. One i was out in my front porch (90 minutes from Dublin no less), high as shit listening to Caravan by Black Sabbath and one of. These guys started going to town on the tree branch above my head.

Yeah, this is pretty much intend to destroy St. Louis as a city and remove Missouri's last relevance on the national stage.

It's just because the way we understand transgender people has changed a lot in the last 50 years. Ultimately the guy accepts Lola for who she is, so I don't see how that can be considered bad, especially when the band has said for decades that they wrote the song to give trans people perception in the public eye.

"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." Letting tthe Republicans shoot themselves in the foot is very different than giving them everything they want on a silver platter.

I didn't intend it that way. But we are hittinng a precipe as boomers start dying off and a lot of great, but lesser known music will be forgotten about, e en if it canstill bee streamed. Artists like Tony Orlando, Mungo Jerry, Paul Revere and the Raiders, or Johhny Rovers will end up only being known by a niche group of music nerds much like big band and swing artists.

Idk how you can blame the Democrats for a shutdown when Republicans control all three bodies that can avert it

I definitely read this as "Fallout-Boy fans" at first and was not prepared to deal with my own age

My small rural town still has it's own AM/FM radio station that covers the whole county that i absolutely love. It's a golden oldies station that mostly plays music from the 50's -70's. My car is too old to have Bluetooth, and the CD player doesn't work, so i usually listen to that when i am driving. Beach Boys, Grand Funk Railroad, Gordon Lightfoot, Jackson 5, Cher, Beatles, Rolling Stones, and other artists that topped the Billboard chart 70 years ago that have aince mostly been forgotten.

Similar to the Way Of The Sun i posted a few months back, this experimental jazz/prog fusion explores being adrift in the ocean. Swirling riffs, deep and enveloping whale calls, and even the crying if gulls and other seabirds are prevalent.

Pentangle was such an absolutely brilliant band. My Geordie mom got me onto Lyndisfarne, and then my best friend in college started me on Fairport Convention. To me, English folk music feels incredible quaint. The subject always feels so small and personal by the way the music carries such emotion. I would say that Pentangle is the best of the the English Folk rock bands, and i would say the English progressive movement as a whole.

Construction crews have been replacing the lead pipes to every home the past month, so they spent all day watching the crew work outside

This car is an absolute shitbox with a million electrical issues. Just got a new starter 2 weeks ago, and the alternator was replaced 18 months ago, so i knew the battery was the likely culprit.

Anyway, gonna make my ancestors proud and go throw the old battery into Lake Erie

I had never heard about pączkis until i moved to Ohio. I guess we just didn't have large Polish populations in St. Louis. I had a bit of trouble filling them when i treid last week, but i think i figured it out last night.

I told yall I don't just own records from the 70's! I would say that this is the album that Dua Lipa will be remembered by. The brilliant mix ups of classic dance songs for a modern pop audience was done brilliantly, and i know this album got a LOT of people through lockdowns back in 2020.
