I had never heard about pączkis until i moved to Ohio. I guess we just didn't have large Polish populations in St. Louis. I had a bit of trouble filling them when i treid last week, but i think i figured it out last night.

For those who have never heard of these, I'm told its pronounced "ponch-key" or "putch-key".

I'm here to inform you that Germans call them "Berliner" and if anybody should ever tell you different, they would be lying through their teeth.

Also, looks delicious.

Here we sometimes call them Kennedys. On account of the red goo spilling out the hole in the side.
