I despise influencer culture. Turning everyone with even a tiny bit of following into a walking, talking billboard is peak shit ad industry has subjected us to. That is why I block ads indiscriminately now, no exceptions. This enshittification on the behalf of ads industry needs to be stopped.

don't use this meme format on account of drake being a douchebag please
I generally agree, however this one has him being a douche
I see drake: I downvote. Simple as.
Best advice I can give is delete all of your US-based social media. I did and I regret nothing.
I don't follow influencers, but I'm not really sure what the problem is here. You're upset that someone has a job? That's like saying: Plumbers engaging with plumbing / plumbers engaging with people who can pay them. Like yea, it's their job to advertise to you. That's why they do things. Plumbers don't do it for the love of the game, and neither do influencers. Everyone needs to eat. If you like their content then you should be ok with ads, unless you're paying them directly.
Although I can't see any problems between you and me, I can still observe people's lack of empathy and passive-aggressive behavior. What do you think? 🤔
Did you respond to the wrong person?
It's all just entertainment
