what. what. what. I think I misunderstood this whole thing. They are actually removing them? I thought it was more like they were not going to make more and let them rot type of thing.
You misunderstand the hubris of the Ford government.
It's a full removal of lanes that were recently put in because they believe adding them worsened traffic despite evidence showing the contrary.
Your tax dollars at work! Do we need to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure? Nah we need to save that money to tear down what little we have.
They have this terrible take which is, they are only making the construction plans, not financing the project or completing it, so it's not their fault or something?
Seems fair. I only did the engineering design for the circuit board, Honeywell built and populated the board, and LANL installed the physics package that made the hydrogen bomb.
