There was an illustrator that did these a while back.

Annoyingly I can’t find it on what I think is their website since it’s in Japanese. If you do a search for Satoshi Kawasaki it should pop up though.

Actually, it really is just a single metacarpal bone. The others are the red square bones you see up top, they are vestigial at this point. Like how whales have legs, we just can't see them
