Bonus religious connotation
It's not an issue though since it's fr*nch.
Fun fact: Vampires can say God in fr*nch without issues, because it's such a godless language
Brainwashed by popular sugar products, the human makes fun of healthier alternatives. Whereβs my high fructose corn syrup, caffeine, and cancer causing agents?! /s
Context? Does it taste bad or?
It taste like drinking carbonated water while someone whispers the flavor three rooms over π
To me I thought the same for a long time, until I realized things like soda had completely nuked my taste buds. After cutting out soda and other insanely high in sugar things a lot more started tasting better, and la croix now has a ton of flavor.
I'm sure that's probably true for many people, but also some people just don't vibe with seltzers. I quit drinking everything but water and black coffee a few years back due to kidney stones and I still can't stand lightly flavored seltzers.
It's aftertaste as a flavor.
This is the best description I've read lol.
Ahhh I see π€£
I'm guessing they just don't care for the cool, refreshing taste of sparkling water
No, I just prefer to taste a flavor rather than just reading it on the label π€£
If you donβt drink sugary drinks on the regular, they have plenty of flavor
No. Some people just canβt handle subtlety.
It tastes like licking a crt screen that is showing the scrambled image of a grapefruit.
So, it's great when the office stocks it for free.
The Lemoncello is a strong delicious flavor.
The Cherry Blossom is NASTY, it tastes like tootsie rolls.
Lacroix? Taste?
Are you a super taster or something? I only ever taste cardboard with a fine mist of watered down fruit juice when I drink them.
Bubblyβs are way better, or even Waterloos.
I was in the βno tasteβ crowd until I cut soda out of my diet and just cut way back on sugar in general. These are a decent substitute and they have plenty of flavor.
When youβre use to the 40-50 grams of sugar in a soda itβs hard to compete. Kinda like smokers actually being able to smell and taste stuff after they quit.
Edit: typo
Well, I donβt drink any sugary drinks ever, so that may be part of it. But the Lemoncello specifically has very much taste!
If thatβs the devils water I guess Iβm a devil worshipper. I love sparkling water. La croix is very good however Spindrift is my favorite and love all their flavors.
Maaaan. I kicked soda several years back and I like flavored water now lol. It's getting a bit pricey now these days.
I'll take Pellegrino. But the devil didn't make carbonated water, he made Canada Geese,
I don't feel as strongly about la croix, but if I have a choice I'm getting polar water instead. If you're looking for flavored water, it's the best imho.
There are a lot of categories of food and drink that I will never understand how anyone likes them. 'Unsweetened and carbonated' is reasonably high on the list for me - carbonation itself is bitter in my experience, and bitter by itself is unpleasant.
Of course different strokes for different folks, I don't think people who like it should stop, I just don't get why they do.
If I ever have to unload one of those fucking trucks again I'm going to commit a terrorist attack.
