...when the parameters for your LLM can fit on a floppy disk.

Am I having a stroke on the toilet?

[–] moody@lemmings.world 31 points 2 years ago

It's as good a place as any. Just make sure you clean up when you're done.

[–] intensely_human@lemm.ee 5 points 2 years ago

You tell me, buddy

Boomhauer is perfectly understandable if you're the right kind of Southern.

[–] flicker@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Is he unintelligible to folks? Damn. Time to get a pair of those stackable white plastic chairs for my lawn.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 12 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I wasn't aware that he's even speaking actual words. I've never understood a single thing he's said.

[–] flicker@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 years ago

I need to start offering subtitling services cuz he's usually pretty funny.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 years ago

Yea, I've always had a wicked hahd time understanding them.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 2 years ago

i can hear what he's saying but a second later i have no earthly clue what he said

[–] SolarMonkey@slrpnk.net 7 points 2 years ago

Huh.. I struggled to understand him when I was a kid, but I just watched a compilation clip of his lines, and as an adult it’s perfectly intelligible.

(I’m in no way southern; I’m from the part of the Midwest where the accent can only be described as “generic Midwest”)

Or use closed captions.

[–] BossDj@lemm.ee 37 points 2 years ago

What's getting to me is that they took the time to flip the image and enlarge his hand

[–] drewaustin@lemmy.ca 21 points 2 years ago

Why did reading that sentence damage my brain?

[–] dumbass@leminal.space 16 points 2 years ago

That is a pretty funny tv joke on the tv.

[–] NineMileTower@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago

The WD-40 can when the joke can to lubricate! LOL!

[–] tacosanonymous@lemm.ee 15 points 2 years ago

Pure poetry.

[–] Aeao@lemmy.world 12 points 2 years ago

The comment summoned a demon but the joke in the episode was pretty funny. Hank had trouble opening the can of wd-40 so he pulled out a smaller can and sprayed the bigger can. It was a funny moment.

God dammit aneurysm in my feed. I had to blink several times trying to read this before checking the community name

[–] socsa@piefed.social 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Honestly I felt like this was Flanderization.

[–] Snowclone@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

Idk it's hard for me to lean that way because hank started out as a pretty one dimensional character, he didn't like finding teenage boys jerkin in his tool shed, and he was so repressed emotionally he could barely admit to liking anything.

[–] The_Che_Banana@beehaw.org 4 points 2 years ago

Boomhauer translation verbatim

[–] vga@sopuli.xyz 4 points 2 years ago

This is borderline postmodern

[–] gladflag@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 years ago
