AccidentalRenaissance is for photos that look like Renaissance paintings.
This means that they look like Renaissance art in their composition, their coloring, their saturation, the angle of the scene, the types of settings, etc.
π Must be a photo. Not a meme, drawing, art, ai-generated or ai-enhanced image, screenshot, low-effort post, meta posts, video, or anything else but a photo.
π Must be SFW. No gore, porn, extreme violence, blood, corpses, or similarly disturbing content. Absolutely no pornography, even if it's "tasteful".
π Comments must be civil. No slurs of any kind or using words to insult, demean, harass, or abuse other individuals or groups.
π The Renaissance part (not the photo itself) must be accidental to the photograph. In other words, no photos of Renaissance fairs, people dressed in medieval/Renaissance clothes, etc.
π NO influencer selfies, professional photoshoots with watermarks, any type of OnlyFans-like content. We are not the place to work your side-hustle.

Is this wind intensity caused by the fire?
It can be, but I don't think it's the case here - we have Santa Anas with sustained 40mph winds and 100mph gusts in some areas, and that is without any fire. The wind is also caused by the air moving in from the inland deserts that is very dry (often <5% humidity) and hot as well due to compression heating.
There are reports that the Palisades Fire grew from 10 acres when it began to 200 acres in just 12 minutes, due to conditions like this.
That's between 8 and 10 on the Beaufort scale, holy mother of holy mothers!

Firestorm. Now imagine trying to run away from the fire and being sucked back in by the vortex.
This is not actually a firestorm - the wind is external to the fire, it's Santa Ana winds - hot dry desert air blowing in at high speed, any fire that starts in these conditions gets driven by these winds and spreads incredibly fast and is very hard to control.
Ah ok thanks for the correction. I was reading up about firestorms from Allied bombing raids beforehand and assumed that's what it was.

It's exceptionally strong right now due to the Santa Ana winds, and the convection forces from the fire.
Yes and no. Southern California has this thing called "Santa Ana Winds" that happen because there's mountains close to the ocean... but this is like the climate change version of that.
