They're intrinsically the same, they're not two separate actions in sequence.
Did you make your comment just because you were emotional and wanted to join in on the chat and say something assertive in support of Ukraine?
It's not technically the same. If Putin withdraws but still disputes ownership of the previously occupied (or any part of Ukraine) then it can cause issues with NATO membership. It is not enough that Russia retreats. They have to officially give up their BS claims too.

The president of the United States needs to wait for an audience with the crook leader of a failed kleptocracy that fucks up everything it touches.
I think the best thing to hope for with Trump is that someone can convince him that he'll look like a weak coward if he "concedes" anything to Putin, and that only the Bigliest, Strongliest Men are strong enough to give Ukraine shitloads of weapons.
He should be convinced that the best thing he can do to make Biden look bad and own the libs is to give much more arms than Biden has.
Hell, convince the EU to match American donations 1:1 with purchases from American arms companies if that's what it takes. Just get Trump to open the arms floodgates.
