I think the mere fact of someone having (presumably) taken the great risks of entering the US illegally and staying illegally is enough to infer that going back is not seen as a viable option, hence me discussing the alternatives as requested. On the other hand, suggesting to go back to Mexico is as good as no advice, because that's what deportation does as well.
It's best to ask those who risk everything just to get to the US. I assume Mexico is inferior by most if not all metrics, at least pre-Trump. For example, you are five times more likely to be murdered in Mexico than in the US.
Edit: killed->murdered
You're not wrong, but if the person is from Mexico, where else do they go? If they don't have many items and can afford a flight to another continent, they could try taking one to a country like Russia, then illegally cross into Europe, but that's another risk.
Russia has been at war with the West for the entirety of Putin's so-called presidency, killing dissidents in Europe, committing dangerous acts of sabotage and hacking, election interference, political party infiltration, and so on, but the West doesn't seem to care. If it did, Ukraine would have won long ago, or better yet, the invasion wouldn't have happened had the West introduced crippling sanctions early on - if not for the aforementioned acts, then at least for invading Georgia in 2008. If not for Georgia, maybe for Moldova or Syria or Africa.
It's the unofficial patch made official.
If telemetry is the problem, the rational thing to do is to use a fork/build of Firefox without the telemetry, not support the Google monopoly or go for browsers that have had potentially problematic privacy policies for a lot longer than Firefox.
Switching from Firefox to Chromium because of the latest Mozilla policy changes is insane. Google is ten times worse in every relevant aspect.
It feels like the pause in US aid was to let Russia capture Sudzha, then the ceasefire would let them fortify it so that Ukraine has nothing to trade for the regions occupied by Russia.
Абіє's performance was criminally underrated at the Ukrainian national selection. It had all the right components: a great voice unimpeded by the thought out dance routine, a catchy chorus in a song dedicated to an important cause, and cultural references. It's the Bambi Thug of Ukraine but a lot more palatable to the general public.
Depends on where you stand on misogyny and transphobia.
