President Donald Trump is calling for Democrats to be jailed, ordering the Justice Department to investigate lawmakers who have dared to threaten to hold him and his goons accountable.

The 80-year-old president cast his demand for Democrats’ imprisonment as a response to their threats to investigate members of his administration, particularly Attorney General Todd Blanche, his former personal lawyer.

The mad king's calling for the arrest and imprisonment of political enemies for merely being political opponents is one of the nails in the coffin of a dying empire. Add this on top of J6 too.

J6 is really funny to.ask MAGA what it was about.. they start with the right protest peacefully. Show thwm a video of J6 hitting cops with a flag pole, flag still attached. They pivot to it was a false flag false flag or it was ANTIFA. Poit out Dump controlled the government and he pardoned them, many of which reopened for violence and pedophile.

You can watch the wheel turn but the hamster is dead

Melania and steve miller better watch out. Nero kicked his wife and their baby to death. then castrated and married a young man after to replace her.

He's really just a crazy old man, terrified of being sent to prison, who says literally anything that comes to his mind on the off chance that people will do what he wants.

I know this is really far from being news but every once in a while I'm reminded.

[–] tigermountain@lemmy.world 4 points 1 hour ago

I guess his tranquilizers wore off.

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

He can scream and cry about it all the way to prison

[–] northernlights@lemmy.today 2 points 24 minutes ago (1 children)

But a regular people prison please, not a billionaire's luxury "cell". See how he fares being treated like everybody else.

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 1 points 7 minutes ago

Being treated as equal to the people he looks down on would be such delicious poetic justice.

And no one could reasonably argue that it's either cruel or unusual...

[–] thefrozenorth@sh.itjust.works -1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

He is preparing ICE to seize control of the executive functions. An American Genocide is approaching.

[–] Redfugee@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

Dude calm down

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 4 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Reports of donnie's meltdown have been greatly exaggerated.

[–] ragepaw@lemmy.ca 1 points 15 minutes ago

Yeah. I'm tired of that narrative. Someone will say he had a meltdown, and you watch yhe reference video and he's just his normal pudding brained self.

Sensationalized stories.

PresiDunce Drumpf Shits Self, Gets Angry At The World...again.

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 5 points 2 hours ago

As I understand news would be his arse being clean, not him shitting himself

[–] peopleproblems@lemmy.world 90 points 11 hours ago (3 children)

There we go. That's more what I was expecting him to do.

[–] meat@lemmy.blahaj.zone 43 points 10 hours ago (6 children)

I think his seemingly calm response to the election was due to no one explaining the situation to him. I can't imagine what Miller is recommending now...

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 hour ago

His meds must have been working for a moment

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 5 points 2 hours ago

Well they are ramping upn national guard in dc for no stated reason...

So they will be suspiciously militarily equipped for January...

[–] im_fine_sandy@nord.pub 7 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Nah.

The loss was too big to lie about, and he can say that "he" didn't lose.

I think that his AG has been on the blower saying "we're all so totally fucked now" and trumps initial response is this outburst.

[–] bedwyr@piefed.ca 4 points 3 hours ago

I agree except he's so far gone, he had to be told he can't fight this one as fraud, and I think the resignations of the three federal prosecutors has something to do with this. He demanded, they refused, not our of patriotism, but self interest obviously.

He would cry foul, you know he tried, he didn't get the support. He floats ideas like this, or did before he lost his fucking mind, like after 2020 with the insurrection act and rerunning elections under the gun of the military. Flynn spearheaded it, but he broached it too. Didn't get support.

2028 is going to be wild, as the dems will manage to nominate newsom or god forbid that douchy chicago sell out they think is tough, the former mayor whatever his stupid name is. Rahm Emmanuel. Fuck that guy, and fuck newsom.

The establishment will throw us back into the arms of these traitors that are planning on permanently fixing elections. We may only survive now because the prez and his picks are such fucking cunty douche troll liars.

Next nomination will likely be more intelligent, and with dem establishment in opposition they could topple the republic and throw us into darkness, so to speak.

I can't imagine what Miller is recommending now...

Banishing Éomer and abandoning the Westfold?

[–] HotsauceHurricane@lemmy.world 12 points 9 hours ago

Also. Natalie Harp definitely took his phone.

[–] CoconutLove@lemmy.today 13 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

He’s going through the stages of grief

[–] Feathercrown@lemmy.world 9 points 9 hours ago

Denial - President Veto

Acceptance - I'll work with the dems

Anger - This

A bit out of order, but...

[–] BigMacHole@thelemmy.club 54 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

This DEMAND for Imprisoning Democrats is PROOF that Trump is READY and WILLING to Work with Us!

-Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries LITERALLY!

they should really be killed as collaborators.

[–] bedwyr@piefed.ca -4 points 2 hours ago

It's not over yet, we are stronger than they are, we only need to reject the division of people that want better, to cooperate on what we agree on.

To be clear, you motherfuckers are failing at that. Buying right in to condemning 80 million voters, and everyone in their orbit. I am not blameless to be sure either.

But we need a new forum, federated perhaps, but with set rules, and a jury trial of verified users for violations, and not the feudal system we have now.

[–] Raptor_007@lemmy.world 50 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Just fucking die already, Jesus…

[–] bedwyr@piefed.ca 1 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

Jesus hates this motherfucker too. Second coming Jesus is going to deliver him to old man time.

Edit: and all of his demon spawn, endangered species killing children. Ha ha, I shoot elephants in the face to own the libs! Junior is such a piece of fucking shit.

[–] f1error@lemmy.world 45 points 13 hours ago

That's Stephen Miller running his mouth through the Cheeto kiddie fucker. There's much more to cum out of his mouth.

[–] BeardededSquidward@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 10 hours ago (6 children)

I fear random violence in the coming months.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 7 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

I thought there was going to be violence at the polls

[–] WhatAmLemmy@lemmy.world 3 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago) (3 children)

It's quite strange. For months leading up to October there were many articles that indicated planned sabotage like executive orders around mail voting, voter roll purges, voting booth closures, plans to use ICE to "secure" polling locations, but as the election grew nearer they dried up.

Historically propaganda grows all the way up to the pivotal date and evaporates immediately afterwards (e.g. migrant caravans, jan 6). It appears as though some other force was at play; maybe the fascists plans were sabotaged from within, or support amongst their ranks collapsed. Maybe the data across surveillance capitalism indicated it would be statistically impossible to win regardless of all their election fraud, which is only able to impact races that are relatively close.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

They did try to mess with voter rolls and mail in ballots, but it largely fizzled and would have only been a few thousand votes in places where it would not have mattered. Essentially the margin was so wide in the end there was no point in keeping up.

The ICE scenario was speculation, but as we got into October, it became less likely because it would have had to start by then to make a difference, particularly not being there for early voting meant they weren't going to be there at all. I don't think there was ever real information on that, just a "sounds like something they would do".

I'm hoping that it continues to turn out to be nothing too severe, but Stephen Miller in particular worries me, he has long openly expressed an enthusiasm for things like sending GOP national guard units into democratically controlled states. They have openly said they have a plan to "govern without Congress", but how far they can go or actually will try to go, who knows.

[–] Quexotic@infosec.pub 2 points 3 hours ago

Maybe some Russian data center's got bombed...

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 1 points 3 hours ago

I had such anxiety all through October, I kept thinking something really bad was about to happen regarding the elections

this is america, there's always random violence.

Trump's likely gonna make his Reichstag Fire moment soon to stop the transition of the new Congress.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

At least from some of what I've read, their plan is likely to just ignore Congress. They've been arguing that the president has supreme authority to do what he wants, without being answerable to anyone.

The only thing in theory would be 2/3 Senate to convict after impeachment, and so long as they have enough of the Senate, they don't have to even think about following the rules.

If 2/3 voted to remove Trump, they might even still be ok with that because JD Vance is another Project 2025 guy. They wouldn't stand far taking both at once, but even if I could imagine some GOP convicting Trump as a scapegoat, they would not go so far as to have the office to the speaker of the house.

In short, Project 2025 might not see any dire threat from the new Congress and might be inclined to let it roll.

[–] HazardousBanjo@lemmy.world 17 points 12 hours ago (4 children)

Every single one of his political prosecutions failed on the word "go".

This is just a bigger waste if our tax dolloars for something that's only gonna push everyone further left.

Good job, you demented pedophile sack of shit.
