President Donald Trump is calling for Democrats to be jailed, ordering the Justice Department to investigate lawmakers who have dared to threaten to hold him and his goons accountable.

The 80-year-old president cast his demand for Democrats’ imprisonment as a response to their threats to investigate members of his administration, particularly Attorney General Todd Blanche, his former personal lawyer.

The mad king's calling for the arrest and imprisonment of political enemies for merely being political opponents is one of the nails in the coffin of a dying empire. Add this on top of J6 too.

At least from some of what I've read, their plan is likely to just ignore Congress. They've been arguing that the president has supreme authority to do what he wants, without being answerable to anyone.

The only thing in theory would be 2/3 Senate to convict after impeachment, and so long as they have enough of the Senate, they don't have to even think about following the rules.

If 2/3 voted to remove Trump, they might even still be ok with that because JD Vance is another Project 2025 guy. They wouldn't stand far taking both at once, but even if I could imagine some GOP convicting Trump as a scapegoat, they would not go so far as to have the office to the speaker of the house.

In short, Project 2025 might not see any dire threat from the new Congress and might be inclined to let it roll.
