President Donald Trump is calling for Democrats to be jailed, ordering the Justice Department to investigate lawmakers who have dared to threaten to hold him and his goons accountable.

The 80-year-old president cast his demand for Democrats’ imprisonment as a response to their threats to investigate members of his administration, particularly Attorney General Todd Blanche, his former personal lawyer.

The mad king's calling for the arrest and imprisonment of political enemies for merely being political opponents is one of the nails in the coffin of a dying empire. Add this on top of J6 too.

They did try to mess with voter rolls and mail in ballots, but it largely fizzled and would have only been a few thousand votes in places where it would not have mattered. Essentially the margin was so wide in the end there was no point in keeping up.

The ICE scenario was speculation, but as we got into October, it became less likely because it would have had to start by then to make a difference, particularly not being there for early voting meant they weren't going to be there at all. I don't think there was ever real information on that, just a "sounds like something they would do".

I'm hoping that it continues to turn out to be nothing too severe, but Stephen Miller in particular worries me, he has long openly expressed an enthusiasm for things like sending GOP national guard units into democratically controlled states. They have openly said they have a plan to "govern without Congress", but how far they can go or actually will try to go, who knows.
