I bought all ~45,000 McDonald's franchises and my head canon is those are all now free food banks for all.

I bought 2000 yachts and ships, those are all mobile medical, food, water supplies for any country or city in need.

I bought like 1 million homes. All are now free housing for anyone that can't afford rent.

I bought a ton of stadiums and aircraft carriers. Those are now the supply hubs for my world hunger and clean water and food for all venture.

And I still had over half my starting money left. So I bought a ton more shit. But realistically I could have funded that humanitarian empire for the next century without even bothering to raise money or get donations.

That's how I justified it.

Oh, and I did buy 2 houses and 2 Lambos, for me, as a treat. But the rest went to humanity.

But 76 and 6 B2 bombers.

No schools or hospitals though.

3000 tanks for crowd control and personal security.

And the remaining $364.795 B are to feed, clothe, and fuel this small garrison nation — about 8 million of the best people — I've invented. That said, there's just one problem. I have all this capacity to make Universal High Income. But, this planet is too hot, the storms are too large, the food is not growing, the people outside my fief are angry, and I can't get a decent lab-grown cheezeburger anywhere.

So, if the rest of you would kindly fuck off to Mars on these rockets you'll build and pay for, the rest of us can enjoy the fruits of your stolen labours.

Spend and giving are different. Spending implies a specific thing in return, giving has less strings attached. See NGOs as an example of how "giving" money quickly can become it's own corruption.

This is why it is impossible to spend this much money and one of many reasons why millionaires over $10mil are immoral and should not exist.

You're right that most of his wealth is on paper, but you could wipe out 99.99% of Elon's wealth and he'd still have 100 million dollars. He's not going to be homeless.
