MFers read Speaker for the Dead and didn't get that Jane was an annoying little shit.

(Haha just kidding, AI bros can't read.)

[–] Darkonion@lemmy.world 3 points 12 hours ago

I just press this button on my jacket and it shouts "Believe in yourself" and then electrocutes me. Just as good.

I actually cannot make decisions and I don't mind admitting it. I already decided what to have for dinner WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO DECIDE AGAIN???

This is like laundry all over again. Life is relentless.

[–] Smaile@lemmy.ca 1 points 11 hours ago

Yes but once you start doing that, your ability to make decisions on your own get worse and you actually become useless. This would make things waaaay worse.

I know what I want for dinner. I want whatever fits in the air fryer because I cannot be arsed with mucking around with the oven when I get home from work.

[–] FishFace@piefed.social 1 points 11 hours ago

Making dinner is much easier for me than deciding what to have. Mucking around with the oven? Just twiddle one knob m8!

"Earrings, have you been listening?"
whispers"yes."
"What do you think I should do?"
whispers"you are right to get another opinion about this. I definitely feel you should kill them all."

"All...of them?"
"KILL THEM ALL! then we can be alone...forever."

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

Haha joke's on you I don't need possessed earrings for this

[–] EndOfLine@lemmy.world 202 points 1 day ago (12 children)

They should get right on that. Start with this design and never listen to the naysayers when they say it can't be done!

[–] wraekscadu@vargar.org 3 points 12 hours ago

The impossibility of this design aside, I'd love myself an accretion disk black hole earring!

[–] hypnicjerk@piefed.social 5 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

help my child swallowed my grok earring and grok won't tell me what to do

[–] OpenStars@discuss.online 1 points 14 hours ago

Better idea.

AI mood sensing dog collar and butt plug combo. Detects when you are feeling down and gives you a boost when you most need it.

[–] dharmacurious@slrpnk.net 15 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Now, I'm not an AI fanboy, but, like... Id consider this...

Feeling sad? Prostate buzz.

[–] Funkt4st1c@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Might pavlov yourself into only being able to cum while crying

[–] dharmacurious@slrpnk.net 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Bold of you to assume I can finish without crying currently...

That's a cursed item. You're describing a curse. You're going to get your soul eaten.

[–] Flower@sh.itjust.works 7 points 22 hours ago

Walking around with sphincter symbols is a bold choice.

[–] cloudshouter@lemmy.zip 12 points 1 day ago

Sci-Fi got there first. I really wish I could remember the titles of the 90’s anthologies I got from the library back in the day. In one very good short a galaxy famous artist gave his last official interview to an older reporter. Everyone had memory aids that perfectly stored information and then would give you your answers. Hers was an older version that was external so it could be left out of the room. Half of his personal journey was trying to retrace his unremembered past and an obsession with one unique color that was stuck in his memory. The inconsistency of natural memory can lead to new journeys and stories becoming legendary. If you have an Ai whisper in your ear all the time that you prefer red wine, you will never try the white.

The one on the bottom left is amazing in that it appears to ge defying the laws of physics. The two halves do not connect, yet the bottom part still stays in place.

That's the kind of stupidity I expect from corporate America: invent anti-gravity, but use it solely for an aesthetic purpose on the worst product imaginable.

Wild way to admit you don’t have thoughts.
