Also need oversized cars and "why are these roads so narrow, cars are bigger these days!", as if they actually expected the roads to get larger just because they got a larger car.

Roads don't evolve by external pressure?
as if they actually expected the roads to get larger just because they got a larger car
as if they actually expected the roads to get larger just because they ~~got~~ designed a larger car
Smaller cars still exist, they decided to buy a very large one.
Yes, I'm not saying they're not at fault. I just thought about the fact that even before them, there were designers who thought it would be completely alright to build road motherships.
God this is relatable.
I'm not really hard core /c/fuckcars but god damn car people act fucking entitled.
They act as though you're using their road at their sufferance - like how dare you be an obstacle that they may need to move around.
Then they park wherever they please, often across footpaths and bike ways.
Then they leave their vehicle and dodder around blocking paths completely oblivious to their surroundings.
There's absolutely no concept of sharing these areas with different types of vehicles.
what's more is anyone coming to the uk has their social media looked at and all leftists and nazis are tortured by default and then sent to rwanda
if i were one of those people i would stay away
far away
the uk is a horrible place, don't come
Disproportionately BMWs
Warning to others, I just went into the crosspost assuming it was posted around the same time as this
Turns out it's from a year ago, and I only noticed after responding to something
This is one of the things I actually quite like about the threadiverse; instead of a brief surge of activity before a post sinks forever, they stay active. Discussions can go on for days, and posts of the same link get joined together (piefed does this especially well), so you can see previous discussions. I like the longevity of interactions here.
The situation is still the same situation today, but the picture should have a few more white empty bicycles in it.
Oh don't worry I know
I more was warning so people didn't do what I did and reply to someone who'll probably not even barely remember posting the comment
ngl i think people just need to accept that on the internet a year is basically last week, you can't be upset that someone replies to a 5 year old comment
When people on linear forums (or worse, threadforums) complain about "necroing a thread", I'm like what? Do you not like activity on the site? Is your tofu too juicy and your pasta too buttery??
exactly lmao, and like what the fuck is the problem with "necroing"?? oh no some people are reminded about a post from years ago, what horrifying trauma
Since you asked, depends what the thread and the reply was, as well as the situations of the people involved. If you’re trying to relitigate something the rest of the group already considered a settled topic and is fed up of, or if you’re shit-talking someone who is no longer around, or if you’re expecting another participant to suddenly jump back in to defend something they said two years ago, then all of those things can be obnoxious.
It doesn’t apply to cross-posts like this one though, because I don’t think it even counts as necroposting, and I didn’t see anyone complain about OP to begin with.
There seems to be a number of users here (who may be bots?) who just spam cross posts of older popular posts
It’s especially frustrating when they do it in news communities and for some reason people are so uncritical that they upvote it by the hundreds.
This is absolutely the road I live on.
It's pretty close to mine, except it's missing:
a) A car doing 40mph on a 20mph street, because "it doesn't matter when it's not rush hour"
b) A car driving the wrong way down a one way street, because "it doesn't matter after 6pm"
[Edit] I looked at the original post, and it seems I basically made the same comment then - except at the time it was extra bad from "Apple Maps" sending people the wrong way down our street, months after some temporary roadworks had "flipped" the direction for a couple of weeks. I'm happy to say it's not quite as bad now as it was then :)
Did the UK go all in on those grossly huge North American vehicles?
They're certainly getting bigger but its not exactly like it's only american companies that are doing it.
I never even parked in my own ass before but that which it do does catch itself on the this that were the curve we in the side of the streetwards like as it goes so you speed into it and then it goes not forward byt back, obviously.
I hated that shit. That way the goes no goes where it go.

You know it be what it do when it doesn't, dog, you just don't know how it be as it do and does what it was to be; teleogy, obviously.
Just because it be like it is doesn't mean I have to be it do, though. You know when it is it isn't all that.
This ain't the boondocks saints, boy. You can give greeby but it don't stank til it told off by the crank willaker do scooter as a hovering delight. But that is as ot cracks. Lengwise and longly, at least. Yet it is as all it can wasn't to being, so, smell you later, chumpinator!
... Ok.. You want fries with that?
I have never said the word fries before in my life
