Yeah, it's probably a warning for wheelie bins rather than trees :)

Low quality turkey (animal) meat, mashed up and mixed with rusk, water, other low quality "meats" (offal, ears, pig trotters, bumholes etc) and an array of flavourings and sweeteners and reconstituted into a helical shape and coated with breadcrumbs and oven baked.

Basically the same as any other easily affordable breaded, reconstituted meat product, except it's in a helix instead of a sausage or burger pattie shape.

I've never had one, but they're probably delicious.

The Abbot of Wallingford's flock,
Built a Mechanical Clock,
His ultimate goal,
Was the "winding up" hole,
Which he operated using his small key

There once was an Abbot called Rick,
Who had a mechanical trick,
A timekeeping gear,
Was affixed to his rear,
And the chimes were attached to his nose

Hmm, unless anyone can think of anything that rhymes with "clock" or "Rick", I can't really think of a way to make these sound rude.

Hahahaha. That's brilliant :)

TIL that browsers show a number in the ":D box" if you don't have enough tabs open.

This is very cool. I never even knew anything like this existed. Some of these designs are actually really nice and practical, and hopefully as sturdy as they say.

Thanks for sharing :)

Well yes, obviously use whatever the local language is - I was just saying specifically don't use the American-only word for them :)

That was during the other Victorian era, in the 1990s, named after "Posh Spice" Victoria Adams/Beckham from the Spice Girls.

Not sure if it'll make any difference, but might be worth searching for "nappy" (the equivalent word in English) rather than "diaper" (American word) to avoid US products.

Have they just rebranded cat/dog meat flavoured toothpaste and trebled the price of it?

"Make it a diet soda, I'm watching my weight"

Hahaha :)

Surprisingly, we all got through that phase with (to my knowledge) zero injuries, and other than a selection of slightly molten or de-limbed action figures, never harmed anyone else except a snowman, a tree and a cardboard cutout of a long-forgotten 1980s TV celebrity.

The image shows a shop shelf, with a rip-off cheap toy, based loosely on the Transformers cartoon. The toy is called "Deformed Car".

These men have very similar aims.

"National Black Cat Day was created by Cats Protection on 27 October 2011 to help celebrate the majesty of monochrome moggies and beautiful black cats. When the campaign was launched, statistics revealed that black and black-and-white cats took, on average, seven days longer to find a home compared to cats of other colours."

"Singer whose idiosyncratic performances helped the German band Can stretch the limits of experimental rock"

Saw him sing/speak/make noise at a 2 hour long improv set in a small gig venue in Yorkshire about 10-20 years ago, supported by a handful of local improv musicians.

After they finished the set, he individually thanked (and optionally hugged) every single audience member.

I include a complementary picture of a black cat in a carrier bag.

Three cats spread over the stairs, staring at the camera person, blocking access to the upstairs. (Actually they're just waiting for someone to throw the fuzzy ball for them to chase).

Photo is from about a year ago, when the cats learnt that as well as "on the bed" and "under the duvet", if you explored the area where the buttons were, there was also "inside the duvet cover".

Three cat brothers, sat neatly on a staircase, Jan 2023. This is probably my favourite photo of the three of them together.
