I don't understand. What's ironic about a socialist opening some city owned grocery stores?
Enough Musk Spam

Nothing in the slightest, Musk is just a dumbass with more money than any human should have.
He’s also got less sense than I thought a human was capable of, which is saying something, if he was smart he’d have fucked off after PayPal like Tom did when he sold MySpace
The irony is that Musk, self-proclaimed super genius, doesn't know what irony is while calling things ironic.
I had to sink to the lowest level but I think the perceived irony is that a socialist is opening a store which some people think is inherently capitalist
In his empty head, there might be some connection to the Conservative Propaganda about people starving under Socialism, vs a Socialist opening grocery stores, and we're supposed to see that as "Irony," rather than popping a hole in their "Socialists Starve People" trope.
He's just not smart enough, or sober enough, to follow the mental path beyond "Har, har, look at this Socialist with food, har, har. Ironic, huh?"
Financial obesity is an existential threat to any society that tolerates it, and needs to cease being celebrated, rewarded, and positioned as an aspirational goal.
Corporations are the only ‘persons’ which should be subjected to capital punishment, but trillionaires should be forced to transition into billionaires, and billionaires should be euthanised through taxation.
I don't think musk knows what irony means
He must mean the nutrients in the green leafy vegtables.
where irony?
They set up a loyalty program like you would have for any grocery store, which helps with inventory control, and these people think it's an ID verification system.
Hope they also use that to limit the quantity of food you can buy each month. Like max 5 liters of oil or so, to avoid people that bought to resell.
It's in Musk's use of that word when he clearly doesn't know what it means.
They've been complaining about voter ID and being dunked on for making the argument that you need ID to buy groceries and now the Mamdani grocery stores require a membership ID
What is the irony? That he thinks the original plan was to give away food for free then they realized they have to charge something? I'm pretty sure charging something was always the plan just not with the intent of a for profit model.
I've been trying to figure out,... my conclusion is that he doesn't know what irony means
Remember when the World Food Program showed Musk he could solve world hunger for a mere fraction of his wealth andyet he's still here trying to dunk on people trying to put food on tables?
Elon Musk literally bragged that if anyone could prove $6B could end world hunger, he'd spend it. UN was, like, yeah. He, of course, dropped the conversation right then and there.
Yeah but can you imagine the humiliation if it didn't work and he accidentally just saved millions of lives without getting rid of 100.0% of the problem?
I don't see the problem. I'd rather people be able to afford to eat and feed their families.
Anyone who has a problem with affordable groceries, in a period of time where the cost of living outweighs being able to afford groceries; can go fuck themselves with a rusty Trident.
He’s one of the biggest douchebags on Earth. Once people stop buying from and listening to him, we’ll be so much better off.
That's the thing though. No one does buy anything from him and he's still a trillionaire because it's all theoretical. If he was forced to actually come up with the money he couldn't.
Musk is such a fucking waste of oxygen. This is how he tricks people into thinking he isn't as dumb as a lobotomized sunfish. He smugly says a bunch of bullshit just vague enough to fool other idiots into playing along because they want to feel smart too. There's nothing ironic about the news story he referenced. He's a fucking moronic narcissist who hears something and without even bothering to process the information immediately assumes he understands it on a level beyond everyone else. And if you press him on it even slightly he'll just say you have a tiny brain or call you a pedophile or some shit.
He is too thick to recognize that extreme measures like this are necessary in no small part due to his and his peers’ greed.
There’s another solution that doesn’t involve socialism, but they are forcing it upon us by their own actions. That’s what’s ironic.
Are we legally allowed to pray to St. Luigi in regards to Musk? I hope similar actions can happen.
Religion has often been banned throughout history when it challenges an authoritys place of power.
Stop engaging with Nazis on Nazi platforms.
Well I'm upset that Musk is still breathing.
Praying St Luigi
The way Musk talks he makes me think he has more hands than amount of books hes read
If their kids get plump they can be used as human shields
Musk, probably
Not probably. Do you remember Musk around his family?
Sure you do. There's a bunch where he's with his little boy. . When? Oh, right after Luigi happened.
The irony is that this administration is actually implementing centrally managed economy (government purchasing shares of private companies, telling directly what they can and cannot do) like in communism, with the difference that communism at least pretended to be there for the people. Now the government is just there for the Epstein class.
Yeah, poor will not starve, but at what cost? Stakeholders will not see much profit and the US won't become white ethnostate.
"How dare they undercut billionaires! And at such a vital time too! They were making more profits than ever"
