Where she went:

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 5 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Maybe all the filler migrated up into her brain.

Cosmetic surgery is more often than not a result of mental illness rather than the cause of it.

Wow, she looked pretty before she went full jigsaw.

I can’t believe she’s a similar age to me… she looks 20 years older now. That’s insane. I honestly had no idea.

[–] turtlesareneat@piefed.ca 21 points 9 hours ago

I'm 43 and assumed she was at least 50, all that bad plastic surgery doesn't usually belong on someone younger than me. Yikes.

Assuming the yearbook photo (I suppose it is) is authentic, then I was surprised as well. I thought she was probably my age (mid-40s) or older. Nope, over a decade younger.

She was mid even with makeup. Now she's just Jigsaw.

For context: she went full MAGA

It's either the experience or it's just that there is always something dark in some folks which they allow to pop up, or both. I had a friend who is a pretty sensitive person and gave me sage advice before when we were growing up. I have not spoken to him in years as we drifted apart and he emigrated. But on Facebook he is posting far right contents even though he himself is an immigrant and naturalised. Looking back, he may already have that streak in him. Although at the same time, environment and experience may have influenced him which I suspect is due to his father.

That's been my experience, too. Every Trump supporter I know has extreeeeme daddy issues.

What a weird fucking quote to choose anyway. It’s basically:

I believe other people should have opinions for me.

This is what happens when you don’t have any ethics or internal guidance system.

[–] SnoringEarthworm@sh.itjust.works 16 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago) (1 children)

I believe other people should have opinions for me.

is a whole new sentence compared to the quote in the picture.

I don't even need to know who the person is to call that out.

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago) (1 children)

It is, you’re right. I distilled what I took from her chosen quote, then put it in a quote section, but without direct quotation marks, because I was not trying to make you think the picture was inaccurate. I’ve edited it to be clearer.

The words are not the same, but that’s the meaning I get from her chosen quote.

[–] Cypher@aussie.zone 5 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

I took the quote to mean she was desperate for attention and that she won’t risk losing attention by daring to disagree.

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 2 points 4 hours ago

Well yeah, that’s basically letting other people have your opinions for you. If a part of you disagrees, but enough of you is willing to go along with it, you’re just fooling yourself if you think you still have a different opinion. Humans do all sorts of things to rationalize opinions we’re uncomfortable holding, including blaming others for behavior of ours which contradicts our self determined beliefs.

Considering the rumors of her affairs, it's disturbing how young she actually is.
