Right there, in the photo, silly.

[–] WhoIzDisIz@lemmy.today 8 points 4 days ago

Cock-a-doodle-doo, any {rooster} will do.

[–] kata1yst@sh.itjust.works 32 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Dino nuggets are made from real theropod dinosaurs.

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 26 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Dinosaurs evolved into chickens, which we kill and shape their meat into cartoon dinosaurs and use real dinosaurs as fuel to cook and eat them.

We are the monsters.

[–] kata1yst@sh.itjust.works 22 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Uhm, ackhtully the fuel is mostly from ancient peat and algae, not contemporary to the dinosaurs but rather the Carboniferous period.

[–] muzzle@lemmy.zip 17 points 4 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (2 children)

Carboniferous literally means "when ~~carbon~~ coal was made'

[–] gibmiser@lemmy.world 10 points 4 days ago
[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

That would be about 5 billion years back?

[–] muzzle@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 days ago

Good point, is coal, not carbon!

[–] lauha@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago

To be pedantic, di osaurs didn't evolve into birds. Birds are dinosaurs. Avian dinosaurs are the only dinosaurs that survived the mass extinction and never stopped being dinosaurs.

[–] Una@europe.pub 22 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Only reason a chicken can not kill you and eat you is because chicken is too small so just behave and be thankful that they are so small.

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago (2 children)

I've often thought we all lucked out that the bigger dogs are more docile.

[–] hirihit640@sh.itjust.works 11 points 4 days ago (1 children)

We probably just bred them that way. Unmanageable dogs were undesirable and bred out

[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 days ago

No no, it's the reverse; the little shits are bred that way.

[–] DistrictSIX@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 days ago

In what world is this the case? Boerboel, Cane Corso, Presa Canario, Filha Brasilero, these are all 50+ kg dogs that are in no way docile. And there are plenty of smaller breeds that are docile. I think the main reason is that, as an owner of a large breed, you have to train your dog to some extent, or it will seriously hurt someone. Smaller breed owners often seem content with just picking up their dog in their arms when they get aggressive, or just laughing it away by calling it feisty or a diva or some other nonsense. Being an irresponsible small dog owner simply doesn't come with the same down sides as being an irresponsible muscle dog owner.

People spent so long asking if we could, they forgot to ask if we should.

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 19 points 4 days ago (1 children)

If they had asked, the answer would have been "Yes. Yes, we should."

[–] fonix232@fedia.io 8 points 4 days ago

Oh no, the question was asked. It went down like this, approximately:

  • Hey, bro, should we...
  • HELL YES WE SHOULD

And it was decided.

the answer is still yes

[–] webp@mander.xyz 7 points 4 days ago

Answer doesn't change

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

Unfortunately, I'm not as into cocktails as I used to be.

[–] homes@piefed.world 11 points 4 days ago (2 children)

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Rad chickens will be recruitable, then you can craft cybernetic enhancements.

In the video they put a rocket launcher on the chickens back.

(It was a foam dart launcher but it was pretty cool all the same.)
