C'mon Canadian Albertans. Throw that shill on the trash heap and let's get on with the future. Imaging driving from Saskatchewan to British Columbia, paying all those american tolls and risking being swept up in some sort of aggressive policing tomfoolery.

Claiming Canada was founded on the principle of strong provinces, Ms. Smith said, “Canada is very different from the United States and many other Western democracies. For example, the U.S. centralizes the majority of power and decision-making in its federal government. In Canada, we chose a decentralized federation composed of very unique and diverse provinces left to govern themselves in almost all matters with the main exceptions of national defence and international affairs.”

Absolutely unhinged.

It sells in Alberta.

That is pretty much the opposite of how both countries work.

Also the exact opposite of reality.

Even dumber, she wants to have a referendum on whether Albertans want to have a referendum. She’s got that fence solidly up her ass.

Ship her off to the USA, and make her persona non grata

Can we do a 'loonie' swap with the US? We'll take back Ted Cruz, store him at a bison ranch in Grand Prairie in exchange for Smith.

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 4 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Can we lose Cruz somewhere along the way?

I hear they shoot poorly trained dogs in the us

This is what happens when you elect a radio shock jock.
