Small enough to snort it, i guess

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 2 points 2 hours ago

If you can still dip it without getting dip on your fingers, it's a chip.

[–] OpenPassageways@lemmy.zip 5 points 13 hours ago

If you end up with a small amount of chips and dip left, just dump the small pieces into the dip and eat it with a spoon like cereal.

If I can pick it up, it's a chip. If I have to pour it out, it's a crumb.

Does licking your finger and doing it one finger count? Or does it have to be grasped by two fingers?

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

If you have to think about that question, it's a crumb.

[–] SchmidtGenetics@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

But you’re picking it up, so your take makes no sense.

[–] jpreston2005@lemmy.world 2 points 21 hours ago

yup, I'd go further and say that if it's the same size as your thumbnail, it's still a chip. Any smaller and it becomes crumb. Big crumb, but crumb.

If I can dip it, it's a chip.

Smaller than my fingertip

Chips, you pick them up with two fingers while crumbs can be picked with a single finger.

If you can't pick it up and eat it without L sussing you, then its not a potato chip but a scrap of the death note paper.
