There's only 2 rules that I can think of right now
Rule 1: Don't ridicule
Rule 2: Don't be an arsehole

If you can think of anything else let me know. Cheers.

Had a crack at a prime rib with a 3-day dry brine. The edges got a little bit overdone but the pink bits were spot on. Served with chips, coconut prawn cutlets, asparagus, and microwave packet hollandaise because the head chef didn't want to make it from scratch. We had a more elaborate plan for the sides but we were choring and time got away.

Didn't quite nail any part of it, but it was an ok final meal for 2025.

Happy new year! 🥳

Steak and asparagus will get me drooling however minorly flawed!

Salad - mackerel, lettuce, croutons, pepita seeds, chia seeds, olive oil & salad dressing.

I've made another Basque cheesecake for new year's day and there's a massaman beef curry on the stove. Might become a tradition of sorts.

Partner made a chiffon cake yesterday for a trifle we’re bringing to our neighbors’ New Year’s Eve dinner. House made custard and whipped cream too. Blueberries and strawberries from the local Colesworths though.
