Jeeps are unbelievable pieces of shit, overpriced and unreliable. But at least I understand the appeal of the basic Jeep form factor with the 4WD and the removable top and doors and whatnot; I love driving with the wind in my face and it's probably nice to be at least theoretically capable of a little offroading.
What I don't understand is people buying Jeep-branded cars. Then you're just getting an overpriced and unreliable piece of shit car.

I hate jeeps as much as the next guy but glass transmission subarus being at the top of the list for reliability, as well as the fact that the rating is based off of "user predicted reliability" tells me everything I need to know about this list
Yeah, my Subaru was by far the least reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Within the first year of its life every O2 sensor had to be replaced, it went through CV axels like they were made of cheese, and I'm pretty sure the head gasket was in fact made of toilet paper. This isn't even mentioning all the other constant annoying issues I had to deal with. I have had multiple Toyotas, a Chevy, a Volvo, a Honda, and 2 Mazdas and I had more trouble with the Subaru than all the rest combined. Any time I see one of these reliability lists with Subaru anywhere near the top I know I can just ignore it.

I know that Norm MacDonald and Jim Downey (the writer who worked with him the most on Weekend Update for SNL) had a thing where they thought the perfect joke had to be one where the setup and the punchline were the same thing.
This kind of reminds me of that sort of joke.
For an example from Weekend Update, here's one joke that he presented:
"Julia Roberts told reporters this week that her marriage to Lyle Lovett has been over for some time. The key moment she said came when she realized that she was Julia Roberts, and that she was married to Lyle Lovett."

Where can I see more of this "Corvette man?" Also why isn't he an 80-year-old man driving 45MPH down the freeway like every Corvette owner I've ever seen?
A friend of mine in his 60s (I think) has a Corvette. Automatic. And he drives it like grandma on her way to church.
I understand that cops are going to be happy to pull over a Corvette. But you can still go the speed limit. And you don't have to cruise under the speed limit in the middle lane... Basically, he's the kind of driver that irritates me.
There's a surprisingly large number of (new) Corvettes in my region, so you wouldn't have to look long. However, they are mostly owned by middle aged white men who like to speed (but not enough to warrant having a sports car).
Nobody should be driving crazy enough to need a sports car on public roads. That's insanely stupid to do. If they can afford the sports car, they can afford some track days.
Sports car doesn't mean that in America. It just means a sporty cart. Like a flashy midlife crisis car.

Ducking is a fairly sacred community thing among Jeep owners, most specifically with Wranglers and now Gladiators. Ducks are always gifted as a random act of kindness, so a Jeep with a lot of ducks suggests that person has been rather active in the community.

Idk I think that sounds kinda nice, it's rewarding positive behavior instead of being a dickhead so I think it's cool.

Or they're like my neighbor, whose dash was completely covered a day or two after he got his Jeep. Plus handprint stickers on his mirrors, which I guess is another Jeepstagram trend?
I used to want a Jeep, the comments in this post as well as this insight into the subculture have turned me right around.

Personally I've found that no matter what car you buy there is a surprisingly large number of people that want to shit on it, and on you. Like, amazingly large and this thread is a great example.
So I guess you're stuck with thay no matter what, might as well get what you personally want and for your own reasons. Not what you're afraid people will think about it.
How were those parking lots made unavailable? In the image the Jeep is parked outside of the designated parking spaces,I don't see it blocking anything. Sorry I don't get it.
he found a patch of snow and parked his jeep on it, regardless of if it crossed multiple spaces. He believes that only his jeep can park safely on snow so that it's somehow taking advantage of an unused space in the lot, when really normal cars can park on a couple inches of snow just fine.
This is one of those strips where it serves the joke better to not look at the images, they're not where the gag is. That said, it could have been drawn better to help more readers get the joke. The artist is saving time.

Less annoying than construction workers leaving their pickup trucks in pedestrian crossings with a high visibility vest jammed in the window.
I ride my bike on the sidewalk and don't mind taking the car road if there are pedestrians on it, but one week every day there were trucks blocking the sidewalk, to get out of the road. I do NOT like getting in the car road because a car is using the sidewalk. That feels so wrong.

The practice must vary depending on the region and the tolerance level of the local police and parking enforcement. Around Montreal, when there's no parking near a work site, some construction workers just abandon their pickup trucks anywhere there's any amount of space, often in crosswalks because that's where there's "space" left, and jam a high-vis vest in their window to show "who they are", hoping they won't get a ticket. And apparently it works or they wouldn't be doing it that much.
I find it dangerous for pedestrians as they are now emerging from both sides of a pickup truck higher than they are, making it difficult to see them from the vehicles passing that crosswalk, but it's unfortunately a frequent thing here.
The only ~~brand~~ model I trust to handle off-road out of box is ~~Subaru~~ WRX/STi because its the only cars I see actually driving in the snow

Having pulled more than one 'ru out of a snow filled ditch with my tractor, I'm not overly impressed by their owners abilities to actually drive in heavy snow. Including one a Son in law of mined owned. He now owns an Audi and it's somewhat better. I generally have found Subaru owners are only just a tiny bit more low key than Jeep owners about their unshakable belief in thinking they can go anywhere with that Ru. Hint: No, no you can't.
For full disclosure: I do own a Jeep, a 2015 Patriot, that's fair in snow. Where I live, we have long, cold, often snowy winters. And unless you live in a town or along a paved highway, snow plowing by a township or even county can involve a wait of a day or two before they can get to you sometimes. So 4x4 pickup trucks are the more common vehicle seen here. And they always have a snowplow mounted to them during winter. But very, very few Jeeps or Ru's are to be seen here.
Fair enough, I was just trying to vindicate myself sliding around in the snow in my WRX lmao.
Although to be fair, where I live it just happens to be that the Subaru owners tend to have snow tires on while everyone else goes with all weather the whole year, so I haven't actually seen a subie end in a ditch, though usually its only WRX, STis, and the occasional outback on unplowed roads.
Less to do with Subaru and more to do with people being more prepared and them buying a cheap & reliable AWD platform.
Have seen plenty of 4x4 pickups that attempted to do the same thing spun out on their all weather tires lol.
I have seen these Corvette comics beeing posted a few times. They are always delightful.
