Welcome to the News community!

Rules:

1. Be civil

Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.

2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.

Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.

3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.

Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.

5. Only recent news is allowed.

Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.

6. All posts must be news articles.

No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.

All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.

10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Here are the Epstein Files. For those of you who have seen this comment before, my apologies. I am trying to keep this information alive. Please feel free to share. Contact me if you want provenance.

https://joshwho.net/EpsteinList/gov.uscourts.nysd.447706.1320.0-combined.pdf (verified court documents)

https://joshwho.net/EpsteinList/black-book-unredacted.pdf (verified pre-Bondi) Trump is on page 85, or pdf pg. 80

Trump’s name is circled. The circled individuals are the ones involved in the trafficking ring according to the person who originally released the book. These people would be “The List “ Here is the story.

https://cdn.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/Johnson/_TrumpEpstein/_Calif/_Lawsuit.pdf here’s a court doc of Epstein and Trump raping a 13 yr old together.

Reminder that Virginia Giuffre (Virginia Roberts in this document) died earlier this year, in an apparent suicide.

Which is presumably convenient for somebody.

Eh, Prince Andrew isn't sweating it.

More like 'Full List of Pedophiles who blocked...'

[–] selkiesidhe@sh.itjust.works 84 points 10 months ago (2 children)

So a bunch of pedos and people who are okay with pedos.

Dems need to run with this. Point it out to the MAGAt moron brigade and keep the fire lit. Those twits have the attention span of a gnat but maybe if you keep jingling the keys long enough, something might seep in...?

[–] smayonak@lemmy.world 40 points 10 months ago

Trump himself tweeted (or "truthed" which is more 1984 than anything ive heard recently) that Obama and Clinton made the list up to attack him. This guy just admitted to being on the list.

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world 14 points 10 months ago

Dems need to run with this.

Lol just wait until dinos like Fetterman castigate their fellow democrats for daring to emphasize it. During the election Fetterman ripped on democrats for harping on trump's felony convictions, saying we were supposed to be the party of "forgiveness and redemption". Imagine supporting "forgiveness and redemption" for people involved in child sex slavery.

So we can all assume that every single person that voted against it was actually a client, right? Do their voters know they're voting for Epstein's clients?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 32 points 10 months ago (2 children)

more likely they protecting MAJOR DONORS to the gop.

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

I think the whole reason this is even in the press right now is to remind the GOP's major backers that they need to keep backing the GOP or face personal destruction because of their involvement in this shit. The GOP is making it clear that only they will fight to keep this hidden.

Hackers, do us a solid and release this shit. It's impossible that it isn't on one of these muppets' downloads folder or some shit considering the type of infosec these people follow.

[–] restingboredface@sh.itjust.works 9 points 10 months ago

Yeah, this seems like a prime target for Anonymous. Would be interesting to see big news outlets struggling between chasing a huge story and not wanting to cover something that outs their bosses (since there's probably lots of them on there too).

What is the logic behind voting No? (Yes I understand any such logic would be twisted and flawed)

Other than "my name's on the list so I would prefer the list stay secret"

[–] habitualTartare@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago

"we have more important things to discuss" and "why are we still talking about this and wasting time when there's a secret laptop and emails" /S

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Daddy Trump said to stop asking about them. They must fulfill his marching orders. We wouldn't want to contradict Dear Leader.

Apparently there were other things included in the vote trying to be smuggled in?

Republicans would rather protect rich people who rape kids than working people. The GOP is beyond redemption and there is no sanity or humanity left in it. Everyone needs to stop acting like there is any way back to normalcy that includes them as part of it.

[–] ExLisper@lemmy.curiana.net 22 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

All in favor of releasing the list of people who opposed releasing the list say aye.

Aye!

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 17 points 10 months ago (1 children)

In the upcoming mid-term election, EVERY Democrat should be making this vote a primary part of their campaign marketing. Tie that vote to every MAGA Nazi, and don't let go. These people are pro-Epstein, and pro-Child Sexual Abuse.

If the Dems is an incumbent, running against a MAGA who wasn't in office, blame them for the vote anyway. Declare that they are just another vicious MAGA Nazi, and would have voted for this, and every other MAGA vote that HitlerPig demanded. They may not have been in office but they would vote 100% MAGA.

Make them wear it through the whole campaign.

[–] FlyingCircus@lemmy.world 9 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

It's cute you think we're still going to have midterms.

/s maybe?

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 11 points 10 months ago (3 children)

I have my doubts, too, but until they decide to go full on dictatorship, I'm going to keep assuming it's business as usual.

If they cancel elections, though, that's a bright red line that they are crossing. At that point, America no longer exists, and I am under no obligation to follow its laws or pay taxes.

Been waiting ten years for these chucklefucks to face the consequences of their backing Trump's blatant fascism. Hasn't happened yet. I'll believe it when I see it.

the Ds voted for knowing full well it wasnt going to get released, and reps blocked it. the sudden change from both parties being silent on the issue, is extremely suspect. they made a deal behind the scenes knowing it will be blocked regardless as performative action.

Pedophiles are probably rampant among the rich and powerful. At that level where all your needs are provided for you either become wise or you become depraved. It's basically life 101. The richer you are the worst your chances are of turning out to be a decent human being.
