For starters, you tried going to the US
I won't go by choice. I have an event that I have to attend for work in July. I will fly on to Atlanta, stay at the airport for three days, then fly back. I will pass customs and immigration in Ottawa so the worst they can do is deny me entry. I'm a white, 60 year old man with a Nexus card.
Denying firefighters entry to the US, smart move.Maybe next year these international firefighters will be looking elsewhere for their conventions.
