I’ve barely started S6E9 (literally; just past the opening credits) and I already want to turn off the episode and delete it permanently from my collection.

As much as I hate Winn, her presence (so far) has not illicited as much rage as Jack has accomplished in the literal 2 minutes of screen time I’ve allowed him to have right now.

Oh yeah. Skeezy McKidnapper was way more punchable.
Hell, Nog was more punchable at times.
Early Nog was kinda punchable. Captain Nog from "The Visitor" is awesome.
Well, obvs.
This is the dude that, IMO, proves that Data feels emotion even without the emotion chip. He managed to piss Data off enough that Data would have killed him, had he not been transported right in the same instant he pulled the trigger.
Not necessarily felt emotions, but after spending that amount of time with Fajo Data knew he would continue doing the absolute vilest things possible for his own personal benefit up to, and including, remorseless killing of his own underlings. And he'd be able to sleaze his way in and out of justice so there was no moral point to taking him to the law.
Side note, if you haven't already you should look up the side-by-sides of him and David Rappaport, the actor originally cast in the Kivas Fajo role who had to be hurriedly recast after Rappaports attempted suicide
I disagree. Data's reaction was logical. It was the only method available to stop him continuing to do evil shit. As soon as Data had the opportunity to handle it in a more legally structured way, he took it.

Neurodivergent characters are difficult to play well. Definitely didn't have a good handle on them in the nineties.
All things considered I think they did a pretty good job. He reminded me alot of someone I went to elementary with. They were insanely smart, for example he could recite the entire periodic table at 10 years old from memory, Atomic mass and everything. They were bullied relentlessly by everyone. I havent seen them in years but i could totally imagine he grew up to be similar to Jack.
Yeah, i worked with someone in a complex field that had a very similar personality. Inanely abrasive, very intense person, but not threatening in any way. Instant temper, but not dangerous, would just lose their shit over anything. It was farcical.
They were excellent at the job and adept at their hobbies, but basically insufferable in the same way as Jack.
Although Eureka has got to have one of the worst depictions I've ever seen.
Maybe from 2371-2378, while Tom Paris was busy being his Delta Quadrant counterpart.
Like, I don't hate Tom Paris (at least late VOY, anyway), but you can't deny that in combination with his early personality, that face just looks inherently punchable for some reason.

I always skip this one. Feels like someone went to a group home once to visit a relative and did not take in the entire situation going on just "these people are so kooky!". Think the most realistic part of the episode is their space CNA just leaving Bashir alone with them with little to no instruction lol. I've only done one NA job so far, but yeah that was my training lol.
