PS: apparently lots of Americans here - more proof of how far behind the times you guys are! Outside North America, these things are NOT "progress". We're trying to get rid of them. In Paris they're jacking up the parking rates for them. In many big Chinese cities they're now BANNED outright. And the difference it makes to urban quality of life is palpable. Jesus. At first I thought this post was a joke. Very sad.
