What the fuck is this graphic? This feels like something Canada Proud would post if they were left wing.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago

Less of a left wing thing and more of a pearl clutching holier than though vibe.

I'm a lifelong NDP voter and this will be the first time I vote Liberal to prevent the Conservatives from sneaking in. I hate it. Fuck party politics and the need to vote "strategically".

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 days ago

The eternally useless but certain to be re-elected Bardish Chagger is my MP, and I am going to take pleasure in voting NDP (if there isn't an animal lib candidate).

I'm normally an NDP supporter as well. Campaigned for the NDP in the Ontario election. The federal NDP has lost the script. They need new leadership and badly. They've lost the union vote which should be impossible but here we are (yes, union heads might support the NDP but rank and file members don't)

What was the bullshit question? Also, I don't get what this piece is trying to convey, exactly, but I appreciate the lengths it goes to in order to technically not be slander.

Fuck Polievre and all, but I don't take kindly to smear campaign tactics, and neither should you - no matter how important the cause

The question that Carney got asked was if he intended to repay for the flights to go meet Macron and the King last month. The journalist clearly wanted to paint Carney as a frivolous spender or something like that.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

The "journalist" was from Rebl "news", IIRC.

So less of a journalist and more of a lying right wing shit disturber.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago

Thank you. That was indeed a bullshit question

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

Yup. Gotta love it when the guy tries to call out Carney on doing what several Conservative premiers have done over and over these last few months without being questioned by media. Hell, Smith did a meet and greet in Florida just last week, and Ford gives more interviews to Fox News than any Canadian outlets it seems.

While every ounce of my being agrees with you, I have a feeling that some people only respond to these kind of tactics.

PP is not interested on "handling" Trump, just capitulating to him.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Handling his balls perhaps, cupping them gently, with a light tickle

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 days ago

polishing his button mushroom tip.

It legitimately scares me how many blue signs I see in southern Ontario.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago

They have a lot of money. Some places that the cons have no chance in still have more blue signs than anything else. Don't get complacent, regardless.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Same in Northern Ontario. I give them the benefit of "Anything but Liberal" thought instead of "Destroy Canada"

[–] [email protected] 16 points 3 days ago

I’ll take educated if centrist liberal over insane trump wanna be every time.

Regardless of the polling numbers. Dont forget to VOTE!!

You can vote most days at most Elections Canada Offices across Canada before April 22nd. There's also the advanced polling days as well and other ways to vote.

I read a tagline somewhere that went: "You need a Carney to deal with clowns." Should use that.
