They need to be prosecuted for genocide. And this. And the other deaths. It’s abhorrent that they killed helpers (again), but the need for prosecution was already there and this just grows it.

I say this as a medic. We aren’t more deserving of revenge than the children or others. They need prosecuted for all of it.

They should yes, but they won't be though

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 15 points 5 days ago

they must be prosecuted

Yeah I think that goes for the majority of the IDF right now. There behave been so many countless instances where soldiers happily tortured and murdered innocent people and children that the IDF should be registered as a terrorist organization, same goes for the Israeli government.

Yes, Hamas leadership should be put against a wall as well, but this group crosses every line there is, this group can only be compared to Nazi SS

Isn't the perpetrator in the US this week? Arrest him.

"Mom, forgive me; I took this path to help people..."

Amid a hail of bullets, these were the last words of the martyred paramedic Rifaat Radwan, who was executed by the occupation along with 14 members of the Civil Defense and Red Crescent teams while they were carrying out their humanitarian duties in Rafah.

Old news: Israel government commit war crimes

Slightly less old news: western media document said war crimes

Still not news: western governments refuse to step in to end genocide.

Anyone who feels angry about crimes like this and is not busy fighting Israeli soldiers should shift their attention to the governments that allow Israel to commit genocide and other war crimes, and support media and organisations speaking up against Israel.

They have been bombing hospitals and schools for an year and half now. We have probably near a hundred incident of kids with multiple bullet holes in their chest and heads, and we have at least two kids on video executed on the floor while people were trying to rescue them (not the Hind incident; different ones), we have two babies at least with missing heads on video, we have the world kitchen workers incident, we have at least 3 seperate incidents of them burning refugees in tents ... and just after this incident as well just this week, the left democrates just opposed Bernie Sander's vote to block $9 billions in weapons and paased it to top near $30 billions to Israel genocide on densly populated occupied besieged strip.

Just call Blinken again to lie about terrrorrists and Israel's right to be an aparthied that colonize and genocide. Your senators are paid forign agents. Why would they choose to wake up now?

I'm sure the baby was HAMAS too.

It's obvious.

Maybe some people want to stick their heads in the sand so badly, and others want to cover it up so much, that it requires a horrific image to break through the barriers and burn itself into people's minds.

... would face prosecution in a world that had any shred of dignity left

I think we both know what the problem is there.

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 5 points 5 days ago

Remember who approved of this, and never trust them again.

Whether individual, or as an organisation.

They only stop when they fear lifes of self!

[–] flop_leash_973@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago

Those responsible for this should be in prison and going forward Isreal should be told in no uncertain terms that if they want any aid from the rest of the world they have to find a way to live on the same track of land as the Palestinians.

These people have been either killing or planning to kill each other for as long as both have existed. And it is long past time for everyone else in the world to take these differences that are rooted in religious zealotry as anything more than a threat to the lives of the innocent that lives there.

Is there a link to the video?

That clip has been edited, but is telling enough. The fire interspersed by pauses tells me that they poured it onto their targets at range when the ambush began, then picked off survivors more carefully at close quarters. There's no mistaking a combatant from a medic in such a situation, especially given that the IDF would be able to freely examine those killed and see the lack of loadout - edged weapons, no sidearms, no long-guns or explosives. It's one thing to say that you were mistaken and saturated the area because you were mistaken or someone lost their nerve and fired prematurely, but they've been actively concealing this latest war crime in the interim. Another incident just begging for the ICC's attention, if they can be bothered...

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 15 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It's even worse, the convoy coordinated with the IDF to make sure they were deconflicted. Same as the paramedics that tried to rescue Hind Rajab, the World Central Kitchen employees and probably thousands of other cases we don't even know about.

IMO that scenario is 10x worse. "We're going to coordinate and follow rules to the letter. We don't want you mistaking us for armed insurgents supplying aid to your opponents on the battlefield", and then they get hunted down and murdered anyway. At a certain point several years ago, people were still acting surprised at each new war crime which hit the press, but its become so commonplace that no one is even keeping count anymore.

[–] Sir_Kevin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 6 days ago

That's fucking disturbing. I hate that the US is supporting this shit.

I wonder if youtube will remove this for showing the true lDF.

[–] npcknapsack@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 days ago

I don't think I want to watch this. Is there any benefit to watching this?
