[email protected] There really is always one person when proton comes up :D Please stop seeing this black and white, it does not help. Proton stays neutral ..

Huh your account literally only comments on Proton news in support of them and is a year old.

Companies used to be less transparent with their corporate shrill accounts, guess that is an improvement.

I honestly mostly read here. But at some point you have to take a stance, and this constant buggering triggered me. Nobody has new arguments, riding the same train again and again: One tweet that didn't read well, definitely, but which is interpreted at the worst outcome possible. The company "doubling down", which they explained, but again interpreted as worst possible outcome, not believing a word they are saying. So, why? People are seeing black and white, not believing anything, which destroys more than it helps. It's a good european company with a history of privacy that has an awesome product, especially when moving away from Google without much effort. And that's much more important than this fuckn tweet!

Leave them be, haters gonna hate. I am afraid its the attention they get that encourages them...

What part of it is hard to understand? Proton made a series of fuck ups and as a result some people no longer want to give them their custom.

Being European and privacy-focused does not automatically mean they deserve our money. I think their actions were substantial enough for them to deserve a loss of customers.

And that's completely fine, I understand. They fucked up, apparently they aren't big enough to have a decent PR team or something. What I am arguing is that whenever proton comes up, even just the name, no matter what's the context, people are digging up the tweet again! They just can't let it be and go out of their way to post it again and again. It is so tiring. Just have a normal conversation about the topic of the article please.

Soo.. maybe I'm not the shrill account, but rather the people discrediting proton are working for Google? Just a thought..
