Traditionally since the 1980s at least, it's been in the 50s of the voting age population. It has inched up the last 20 years, only breaking 60% of the voting age population in 2020. 2024 was 59 to 64 percent according to the old measure not adjusting for felons and illegal immigrants and such, and 64 under the new measure. 2020 was 62 and 65% under those metrics.

It's not even about straight vote totals now though, which is why it was such a big deal when Biden did fuckall then anointed someone (else) that couldn't' win, it's about overcoming efforts to rig the system at every level.

I suspect they've been cheating in myriad ways since at least 2020, and that we can draw a straight line from their open efforts to rig voting in a betrayal of the US in 2020 and beyond, to their theft of the 2000 election.
