What a wild day.... this morning the news was that we were about to give in to a lot of stuff and we were mad at carney
Now it seems the PM has shown he has a spine and seemingly redeemed himself
Only the idiots were “mad at Carney”. That was all fake rumours and grandstanding by American media outlets. It was never released about what was in the deal.
Rumour. Let’s not call that news.
He was getting played. Of course they were going to throw in crazy shit at the 11th hour, but Carney should have seen this coming.
Trump needs a deal before the US midterms. Just let the tariffs happen for two months and come back to a deal when Trump's balls have been cut off at the midterms.
Just because he didn't publicly state that he expected it, doesn't mean it was a surprise.
Carney and the negotiating team know who they are dealing with. They know more about who they are dealing with than any of us armchair quarterbacks yammering on social media.
