For cloud drive / sync functionality I went with Filen. Great storage tiers and price along with Linux support by default. They also do photo backups for mobile.

Yep I found another provider altogether. Didn’t make sense to keep paying them while waiting around to be considered an equal customer

That’s a wonderful way to use that kde desktop feature!

I love a lot of different types of music, but most of the time I’m going back to chill house/electronica and alternative R&B. Things like Rufus du sol, Fred again.., Khalid, others..

Other than that my top ones are:

  • cello-forward classical
  • electro swing (caravan palace is fun)
  • phonk for workouts or getting pumped up
  • melodic synth/electro pop
  • heavy rock on occasion (I once refloored my house with my wife and Metallica, NIN, sound garden were my motivation)

Probably some others I’ve missed but that’s the gist.

My last concert was one with St. Paul and the Broken Bones, was introduced to them by my sister in law, they have some fun funk vibes.

As far as I’m aware, Friendica does this. One feed, lemmy posts, mastodon toots, and Pixelfed posts all there. Lemmy is trickier because you can’t follow people and depending on the way you look at it, comments can show up as individual posts.

Is editing filters on the roadmap for the iOS app? Would be nice to be able to edit from an existing email (auto-insert the from or to address) etc. Annoying to have to remember to go to a computer to do this or open the browser and login.

Rocket League, Stardew Valley, Dirt 4.

Nostalgia stuff: Crash Bandicoot PS1, Worms World Party PS1, NFL Street PS2, MX Superfly PS2, Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition PS2, probably some others

Thank you. This is perfect, much appreciated. I began to down a rabbit hole of rules for different versions of throwing (standing vs running start) vs rolling, etc. It seems the key is to not make it too strict and have fun. Do you find the number of people on a team to matter? Two or three maximum?

I’ve been asked to coordinate a “boule” (similar to bocce) tournament for a relatives wedding as a fun thing to do for those coming a few days early (destination wedding).

After doing a little research, I’ve found there are a lot of variations of this game so I’m curious if any of you play this and what your recommendations are for a simple version of this game. There will be people from Europe, US, and Canada at the wedding so I want to make sure it is easy to understand and explain to everyone.

Appreciate the info, been brewing beer for a while but never tried making a cider. I think I’ll give this a try and see how it goes. Plenty of apple orchards near me so I might pick my own for a specific blend.

Agree, which is why this is mildly infuriating and not worse. Of course there were about 10 minutes of unskippable ads on their media screens before take-off which was a pleasure to be subjected to. That should get everyone free WiFi without needing an additional ad..

They also encourage you to provide info on yourself (create an account, provide birthday) to even use the screen on the seat back…

I made a post on a community on the Lemmy.world instance and I can only see it from my discuss.online account, not a separate lemmy.world account. Is this a federation issue? Not sure why this would happen if we’re federated with lemmy.world. Thanks for feedback!
