Now with THAT Icon I can see the AI bullshit. I have to use Windows at work every day, but I have never seen this ugly AI Icon (or others similar to it). I try to not use Microsoft products in my private life, Linux and open source for life. From what programme is that? I thought you meant the icon in OPs post, in which I can't see any AI stuff, and these icons are the only ones I know from Microsoft products.
Es hat halt einen Grund, dass man an der F35 festhält: Nukleare Teilhabe. Also, dass deutsche Flieger im Ernstfall US-Amerikanische Atomwaffen Richtung Ziel fliegen. Das ist der einzige Grund, warum wir die F35 anschaffen.
Warum macht das nicht der Eurofighter? Weil der dafür nicht zertifiziert ist. Warum nicht? Weil wir Europäer ALLES über den Eurofighter gegenüber den USA offenlegen müssten. Also ist der Kauf der F35 ein Stückweit Schutz von europäischer Militärtechnik.
Gleichzeitig kannst du mal bei Rheinmetall schauen, wie viele Stellenangebote mit F35 Bezug ausgeschrieben sind. Die Liste ist relativ lang. Rheinmetall und andere Firmen werden Teile für die deutschen F35 fertigen. Hier wird also Wissenstransfer stattfinden. D.h. für den Gen6 Fighter, den Frankreich und Deutschland bis 2040 selber bauen möchten, kann man von der Produktion des F35 etwas lernen. So dass wir dieses Wissen nicht komplett selbst aufbauen müssen, sondern auf den Entwicklungen der Amerikaner mit eigener Technik aufbauen können.
Jetzt kann man natürlich die Nukleare Teilhabe in Frage stellen. Wir haben aber zur Abschreckung momentan keine Alternative, Französische Atomwaffen haben wohl einfach nicht die Fähigkeiten wie Amerikanische. Und komplett ohne dastehen? Fände Ich momentan eher schwierig. Also nimmt man in Kauf, weiter mit Amerikanern zusammenarbeiten zu müssen. Einfach schon weil die Alternative beschissener ist.
Als letzten Punkt könnte man vielleicht noch Diplomatie anführen. Es wird hoffentlich auch wieder eine Zeit nach Trump kommen (dabei habe Ich bedenken, die Republikaner sind momentan alle Gaga), in der man als gestärktes Europa wieder sinnvoll mit den USA zusammenarbeiten kann. Man möchte also nicht alle Brücken abbrechen sondern hat noch ein paar Themen bei denen man wieder anknüpfen kann.
Gerne auch die aktuelle Folge Sicherheitshalber anhören, da reden Leute die definitiv mehr Ahnung von der Materie haben als Du und Ich auführlich über das Thema. Und Borius wird sicherlich bei dem Thema noch mehr Einblick haben, um das festhalten an der F35 zu begründen.

Ok, in my opinion Giesswein is very good at marketing. Lets look at my shoes, they are from 2022 or 2023. Assembled in Vietnam. In the meantime they stopped (some?) production in Austria¹. So it is very unlikely, that these shoes were made in Vietnam in 2022 and are produced in Austria nowadays. Sadly I don't have the other shoes anymore, to look where they were made.
IF they were made in Austria today you can be very sure that they would advertise the shit out of it, but they don't. You can only read very vague statements like "Designed in Austria" or the manufacturer on the shop page, but even on their about us page there is nothing like "some products made in Austria". In older articles you can find out that some of the materials are made in Austria but assembly is done in China or Vietnam. But I couldn't find current sources for this claim². Sorry for the german sources.
Edit: 130 people are working in Brixlegg/ Austria. In 2024 the remaining 35 positions in the production were cancelled, so no more production in Briggslegg³. The Shop pages all list Brixlegg as manufacturer, so without workers in the production, who is making the shoes in Brixlegg? How are they doing so many products with only 130 people? Endedit.

Where did you find the manufacturing location on the product page? The only thing I can find is "Designed in Austria".
If I remember correctly the last pair of shoes I bought from them were Made in China. And sadly my feet seem to have a weird shape, three pairs of shoes broke at the same position. My big toe sticks out a bit, so the top wore out after a few months.
The shoes themselves were extremely comfortable and looked very good. I got some compliments for them.
I'm aware of that. I even wanted to add an asterisk to my text but couldn't remember that it was called consignment, so I left it out.
In the end you don't know for sure if a store operates on consignment, and in return if you sabotage the store or the company. And even if you know, destroying products, all the labour, resources and energy that went into it, just to fuck a company is still stupid and wasteful.
What a great idea! The store has to write off a loss AND has to buy more of the product. The only winner is the company you try to sabotage because thanks to you they have a higher revenue and possibly profit.
